UCLA LB Myles Jack out for the season

Submitted by Leaders And Best on

UCLA star LB Myles Jack out for the season with a knee injury. This follows UCLA already losing CB Fabian Moreau and DT Eddie Vanderdoes for 2015. UCLA's defense and their playoff hopes could be in trouble. If only BYU had played this UCLA team last weekend as Jack had the game-saving INT on BYU's final drive.

Speculation was true: #UCLA LB Myles Jack is out for the season due to a knee injury. Huge loss for the Bruins.

Myles Jack is the 3rd big season-ending injury #UCLA has sustained this month following the loss DL Eddie Vanderdoes & CB Fabian Moreau.

Ugghh, as a small UCLA fan but big USC hater living in LA this is really a bummer. I plan to go to a few UCLA games this fall with my UCLA alum/fan season ticket holder neighbor. Damn...

This is a huge shame.  Jack is a real difference maker and an exciting player to watch.

UCLA probably wasn't going anywhere this year due to the whole true freshman qb thing, but their expectations for the year just took a nose dive.  There's talent there, but you don't replace a talent like that and not have some dropoff.

To put it in perspectve, Jack was their version of Peppers and acted as the HSP.  That's a loss both in playmaking and schematic terms.

Jack is one of the most exciting players in college football, therefore a loss for every fan of the game.  A Charles Woodson type athlete, plays both sides of the ball with equal impact.  And I will miss seeing him tee off on USC again this year!

Serious question: was this caused by a BYU player?  After all the dirty crap that they've been caught doing since their bowl game last season, I'm worried about getting out of the game this weekend without any injuries.

Likely 1st team All-American and contender for Butkus award on a top ten team, it's a national story that has an impact on college football as a whole.  I'd say it's worthy.  If Leonard Fournette went out I'd want to know about that and this board is generally a good source of information and discussion.
