UCLA Coach Jim Mora deletes Twitter Account

Submitted by DrWolverine23 on

Title says it all. Mora just deleted his Twitter account 30 minutes ago, leading a lot to believe he's headed to the NFL.

This would be HUGE, 5 Star QB Josh Rosen could possibly come (Edit: Westwood brings up that Rosen is an EE so this would be a longshot at best. Got too excited).

But 5 Star LB KLS, and Chris Clark would be heavy favorites to land at MIchigan.

So cue speculation, hope Mora just got himself a NFL job. Those three recruits would build momentum for the class.

If we land just two of those three that would be huge for Harbaugh's first year.

I agree that it shouldn't mean anything for the QBs on the current roster. But in this case, the hype for Rosen seems to match Harbaugh and we have a pretty highly regarded QB currently committed. I didn't say we were giving up on Malzone by wanting Rosen, but we also don't talk about him much when discussing QB woes. Rosen on the other hand comes up all the time despite barely being realistic. Just a bird in hand vs two in the bush type thing.

You didn't get the whole fucking story... Yes, Mora blew him off.  Off camera though, Mora went back and explained why he was mad -- wanted to know if Snyder pulled a Schiano in victory formation.  Synder said he didn't.  Mora kinda even hugged him and apologized.

Aside from the fact Snyder is 1 of my fav coaches, how do you act like such a dick to a 75 year old man like that?

Also note - it looks like the Big 12's demands that Snyder not wear his 1998 KSU bowl swag had an effect.

Fight the system Bill! What are they gonna do - fire you???

Whoa! Are you trying to inject some kind of sense into this here blog diatribe?! So if I understand you - NOT shaking hands at the end of a game is not a violation of any printed rules, only of custom?

But having your players launch themselves onto & over the line when the opponent is in "victory formation" is just "Ballin"? And if the opponent doesn't appreciate it or worries his players might get injured he's "classless"?

I don't think Rosen will change his mind either, but until he actually goes to a class he's free to switch.  Gunner Kiel did it last minute.

What happens if Rosen doesn't show up for class?  Any normal student could just not show up and enroll at another school and it wouldn't affect much.  Not sure what the rules would be if he never even attended one class.
