Speight just participated in the QB competition and Peppers is up right now.
Hoke was top notch at this aspect of his job.
Nice interview with Peppers. Seems like a very humbled kid.
Dude is built too
Yeah he is jacked for a high schooler. He is already at playing weight.
For one who isn't near a tv with ESPN 2 any time soon, can anyone give a recap of how these guys performed in the competitions? I've heard great things from practices on both, but wondering how they do in this portion.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Peppers wins the skills competition on the football field over the next 3-4 years.
Hopefully you'll be near a TV for that.
Here you go man, not grade A quality, I recorded it on my phone but it'll do. Speight did pretty darn good, finished #2 overall and the only glitch was a slightly fluttering deep ball at the end (although it did travel 64 yards). His acuracy looked real sharp though, although these competitions are just for show it's not like Suh is breathing down his neck. http://youtu.be/cCQ_AT3khVo
Well that's an hour I'll never get back.
Peppers gave a great interview and called out Speedy Noil. This kid is a beast....his effect on Michigan football is going to be huge. He could be the difference and the "guy" to put us over the top.
How many qbs were in the competition?
not sure if anyone noticed but the outro was by LM3Beats which I assume is Leon McQuay
That's pretty cool for him. Hopefully he'll hate USC's new coach and come here. /s kinda
Maybe he could produce for some of the dope mc's in Michigan. They could all use an upgrade in beat selection.
Right now it's nfl live. Is it over?
Nope. Try again and look harder.
Or try ESPN2 2
What does that mean "look harder" ?
It means stare at the screen with more focus. Really focus, and look hard.
or I wouldn't be asking if it was on genius.
It's been over for almost an hour.
Well, one hour and eight minutes before your post was a great time for OP to start this thread, then.
True. I saw this thread right after it was created, turned it on ESPN2, and caught the very end. Oh well.
It airs again on ESPNU at 3PM tomorrow (today I guess) if you want to set your DVR to record it while you're at work.
