UA Bowl vs. AA Bowl

Submitted by dinkmctip on

I'm starting to think that the UA Bowl is becoming a legitimate option this year. I thought it was just a cheap imitation when it was created, but it is grabbing some really talented players, it seems like more are from the south. Most of them are mentioning the exposure that ESPN offers (even though the AA Bowl is on [NBC]).

P.S. Inviting Boisture, who was getting benched repeatedly this year, to the AA Bowl is a joke. I had to mention this.

Is Gardner really our only commit in a AA/UA bowl? Damn, last year we had like 9 guys between those 2 bowls (Lewan, Roh, Gallon, Campbell, Turner, Lalota, Stokes, Bell, Gibbons). Man what a dropoff...

The UA Rosters are hard to find (I haven't been able to find any).

Last year, the ESPN game was a far more compelling contest. I think their goal is to get the top QB talents to make for a more interesting game for TV.
