I enjoyed this first thing this morning.  It was emailed by LSA magazine.  It is corny, but I liked the idea.  More than that, I love hearing The Victors sung from beginning to end, especially by people who can sing.

I respectfully disagree -- I think the fact that they are singing the song "classically" takes away from it.  It doesn't sound like a fight song -- it sounds like Josh Groban or Michael Buble is trying to cover it, and it loses a lot of its "pep" because of it.

To each his own.  I like The Victors sung a lot of different ways.  But I do like to acknowledge that it is a classical song written in 1898 with different sentimentality than that used by a bunch of rowdy hockey players singing the chorus only in about 4 seconds.  I like all the words, not merely the chorus that we all know (and that I was taught as an 8 year old).  I also like to acknowledge that it  was not originally intended to be a fight song, but rather a celebration of victory.

That said, I agree that I would like to actually win first.

Let the kids have their fun.

What's with the lipsyncing though?  I'm sure they didn't want to bring mics with them, but I would have loved to have seen them sing it in one spot and see the crazed and confused Ohio fans around them.

Would've been cooler if you know...there had been a single ohio state fan in some of the shots. Plus, it was shot on Saturday at presumably like 9 or 10 am when no one is awake to care, thus I'm not impressed

I pine for the days of being a just crazy and carefree enough to do something like this, so I will not discredit their methods.

Good show, young folk! And Hail!

Actually embarrased to watch that, and feel embarrased to be those guys....if you are gonna pull such a stunt, sing where their are actually people around, not where you are driving away in your car like cowards

Anyone else notice that the producer of the video is named Brandon Sandusky ('11)? I'm not going to be able to go to Cedar Point ever again without thinking about the name Sandusky.

This was a great idea and The Victors was sung beautifully! Much better than hearing the trio sung over and over again at warp speed (like in most cases). Louis Elbel would be proud.

...about this video is that I currently happen to be on definite article state of Ohio university's campus and they put me up in the Blackwell hotel in a room that looks directly at the horseshoe... and I'm watching this and hearing the victors.  #incongruous #worldscollide
