I followed the Solar Car race from Austrailia on a live feed when they were having the fairing problems and were not sure how close/far they were to Nuon.  The fairing problems did them in as far as catching up to Nuon and Tokei.  But, National Champions and third place in the world is nothing to sneeze at.

BTW, the Michigan car the ran this year looks even better than the one in the picture which is a year or two old.

Well, we have nobody to blame for this one but ourselves. Did not keep the intensity up in the 3rd period. Took a couple dumb penalties as well.

I will say I was impressed with the MSU defense tonight. They played us tight and blocked quite a few shots and passes. Getting another scoring threat back tomorrow will help alot. Let's win one at the Joe!!

I'm going to complain about something too. They have shown the MSU national championship two weekends in a row. Do they not have fucking game film of the 1996 or 98 championship? I would love to see it.

I think it's unfortunate that the sporting event opening song, e.g., as used in the "hockeybear" video, that has been horridly used and abused into a stupid/redundant lowest-common-denominator crowd pleaser happened to have been written and recorded by Alan Parsons Project.

I wonder if the great engineer himself is able to look past all the cash he has earned from it and lament its horrific use/distortion.

Just think, we have to put up with this shit TV network for a long time whose commentators make a CSPAN program seem exciting.

I'm going to the game to tomorrow. And sure enough, the next two games are going to be on BTN. No wonder the Canadians look down on us when we lackluster hacks like that calling games.

As for the game, Michigan has always had trouble in that cavernous dump known as munn.

Michigan still leads the season series 2-1-1. Michigan also won the most important game between the teams this season. If you have any questions, look up at the championship banner at JLA.

Michigan will win tomorrow.
