In other news, megangoblue hits the bench after pitching a solid season opener. Up 7-0 on Alabama State in the bottom of the sixth, her stat line is pretty good (especially for a season opener):

5IP 4H 0R on 0ER. 2BB 3SO

The next game in the double-header is against one team involved in The Horror. Hint: it's not Michigan. I've asked every softball player I've spoken with to show no mercy. Eff those guys (or girls in this case).

So I haven't gotten to watch many games this year since I live in St. Louis [but have listened to every game on the radio], and seeing #3 (Chiasson, I think?) got me really excited for a half-second thinking Scooter got another year of eligibility. Alas, it isn't to be. I do thoroughly enjoy watching this team though

What a difference a period makes. Our play looks so much more coherent in the 2nd. Side note, I am really not looking forward to the increase in hockey games on BTN. The announcing is HORRIBLE. Capital letters necessary for emphasis.

It is nice to watch on tv for us out-of-towners though

Repping smart people everywhere, Harvard alum Jeremy Lin has 18 points with two minutes left in the first half against the Lakers. He just had a sick spinning drive for a layup. Games on ESPN if you don't know what to watch during intermission.
