See: Patricia Heaton on Who Wants to be a Millionaire. She announces that she went to Ohio State (and Regis plays it up) right before she struggles with an incredibly easy question:

When I start teaching high school math I'm going to play this clip at the beginning of every year and say "This is why math is important. So you don't look like the biggest tool in the world"

What happened, did he or she get the million dollar question?

He'd say something like "you know, I really don't care if I am ever a millionaire or not. I just want to be able to provide a good life to my son, drive a nice car.....blah blah". In reality, this guy has like several hundred g's in the bank as a result of an ESOP he had in a company that sold for a tidy sum, and he stands to inherit mega bucks from his dad. But, I get to listen to this guy (a Sparty) pontificate any chance he gets that money is not the only thing in life.

You know what to do - hide a fish in the ceiling above his office / cubicle. That will teach him.

He was a buddy of a friend of mine who was a GA in South Quad - Thronson. This was the second ever episode of the show and the first winner. He was a pretty okay guy as well. Not some super nerdy douche.
