Good news, but not unexpected. The attrition amy continue as long as the coaching uncertainty remains.

Not a big surprise, and I'd expect plenty more to look around.

Has Hoke loosened the rule that says if visiting one is no longer has a committed spot?
Not snarking, serious question.

He probably figures if he isn't going to be here next year, why waste your time puffing out your chest about kids not looking around.

And then there were 8. Well 7 (Clark).

That being said, I will gladly sacrifice one recruiting class if it means Michigan has a new coach and AD.

We just have to assume every commit has one foot out the door at this point (until they annouce both feet are out). This is what happens with a lame duck coach. Once a new coach is announced, many of them will come back, almost no matter who the coach is. Certainly is always better than uncertainty.
And I said this in another thread already, but if we hire Harbaugh, all of these guys will be back so fast it isn't even funny. Even if they commit to another school. Until then, we're just in purgatory for a while.

I agree, 100%. A succesfull, proven coach, is surely not going to scare off talent, unless there's an extreme system issue (spread QB comitted vs. new coach running the pro style, etc).

I don't think kinnel is going to decommit. I really believe he is going over with a friend and his coach. Wants to keep options open in case we don't get a good coach.
October 29th, 2014 at 8:48 PM ^
He might want to also have a backup option in case our new coach doesn't want to keep him.
October 29th, 2014 at 9:11 PM ^
Very true statement. Sometimes the new coach may not want some of these guys that are committed now.

Hmmm.....any other school in the country? Surely you can't be referring to a general studies degree right? Harbaugh disagrees.

WV beat #4 Baylor 41-27. The nation's leading offense at the time was held to 318 yds on offense - 305 yds below their average.

Why would anyone be commited to Michigan right now? There are exactly 0 logical reasons to play football at Michigan as it stands now.

Take a second and think back to 2006. Could any of you have envisioned the state that the Michigan football program is in right now? The downfall has been pretty amazing. Perhaps even unprecedented.

but WVU? You can do better man
October 30th, 2014 at 3:21 AM ^
THIS SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT THE KIDS WE ARE RECRUITING!!!!! we are going after kids who, when not commited to us, are choosing to go to: NCST (holy fuck if thats not championship contender in the next two years), Penn State (taylor taking an official there, did you not watch us beat that sorry ass excuse for a program on the rebound?), Texas (chris clark, im mean at least we are the second best football program in the state, texas might be the fourth best in theirs????), and now WVU.
you want to leave a losing team and jump ship to go where and not compete for shit?
cool, give me some guys that want to come and play ball not hollywood around like they are hot shit.

I'll be there this weekend too. It's supposed to rain and be 45 degrees so at least we have that going for us.
