TX CB Charles Jackson to Nebraska

4-star CB that had UM interest as of a couple months ago - we will see him plenty in the next 4 years.

He doesn't have dreads, so he wouldn't have fit in anyways.

Marlin Woodson to come on board.

Another Woodson might be coming to Michigan and I haven't heard about this?

Probably because he doesn't exist.

Is joke. Is for laughing at.

Marlin Jackson + Charles Woodson = Charles Jackson or Marlin Woodson

Leon Law. Heard he's got a great chance at picking up that 5th Star with a strong finish to his season.

I liked him, but I don't think we had much of a shot anyways. Aww well, he will regret his decision when he walks the tunnel of the Big House for the first time.

... NEXT!
I've never seen this guy even mentioned in Tuesday/Wednesday recruiting. Did I just miss him?

After UConn and ND, there was talk that he was interested in UM. I think Sam Webb had intimated that Jackson was interested. But I never thought that we were anywhere near the leader for Jackson.
Bottom line, we started losing games and couldn't arrange an official. This is no surprise. I'll be happy with Hollowell, Brown or Kitchen, and Crawford.

I'll be happy if no true freshman DB's play next year... Not trying to be an ass with this reply, just stating that I truly hope all the current freshman and red-shirt freshman actually stick with the program, hit the weight room, study film, have a great spring/fall camp, and take all the positions next year as sophomores so we can finally start fielding a real D.
I don't think I could take it if we have to depend on true freshman in key spots again next year.

Well they wont leave the program due to a lack of playing time...
Sigh.

We offered him a loonggg time ago. There was some talk of renewed interest a few weeks ago, but that kind of died. It's really a shame, he's been my favorite CB recruit since we offered.

...but it does appear that Nebraska will instantly be a dominant force in the Big Ten. They're fun to watch, too.

Agreed. Pelini seems to have them on the right track.

Kris Frost earned a 4th Star on Scout. I figured this wasn't worth a new OP. Right now, Frost and Zettel are my top 2 "must-gets" for Michigan. Followed closely by Walls, Crawford, and Bryant.

at the end of the year i hope the necessary changes are made (we all know what I mean). But in the mean time, I hope we do finish strong so our recruiting class beefs up a bit. I am starting to get worried that we are missing out on recruits due to our coaching concern. I want the process this offseason (regardless of what for) to happen soon so we can get out of this ditch and win some damn games. Next year if our D can play half as well as our O is this year, we really could make some noise...i hope.
