I feel like the whole catholic religion has fallen after that video.

Wow, that was rough. Too bad (for them) they aren't going to be great this year. Crist looked relatively meh last week and I wasn't impressed by either line. They'll look athletic in another year or two, but not yet.

Actually ESPN made it for the preview show that was on a week before the season.

I burst out laughing when I saw it. The juxtaposition of the really somber video with the rest of college gameday made it even funnier.

Tonally, I wasn't sure whether to chuckle or prostrate myself in remembrance of their "greatness." Awesome stuff. Go Blue!

As a Catholic, and mostly Irish by ancestry, I feel no sorrow for this once storied program. Let it rot. Let the statues stand as a reminder, and eventually crumble, until their are no more memories of the "once were"'s, only of the "could have been"'s. Let the candles be lit and prayers be said: neither will work to resurrect this dead goliath. Gold will slowly turn to dust in the wind of an empty stadium, and this perpetual Lazarus story will fade into obscurity as the dawn of a new day rises: a dawn painted with Maize and Blue.

Two things:
1.) Did she honestly say "Frustration Jesus?"
2.) Did she call Lou Holtz a ghost?
