Two ESPN articles on Harbaugh

Submitted by M Go Dead on

First article is about Harbaugh and Paul Chryst's decade old friendship, interesting read.

The second is a little preview of David Turnley's book with some photos and excerpts. Where I learned that Harbaugh wore cleats on flights between satellite camps.

And the stories that go with them are great. But when I saw that picture of Dan Dierdorf using crutches, for some reason I got quite sad. Tough to see him like that when all you think of is how much of a beast that guy was in his day.

When Harbs and Drevno can't believe the state of the offense

"(Offensive coordinator Tim Drevno) was saying the same thing. We couldn't get stuff picked up, protected"

This situation caused him to consider jumping off the Bell Tower, good to remember how far we have come with this staff.

I love this quote from the second story:

"It's not easy to describe. I've seen it with Ali. I've seen it with Mandela, and certainly with Coach Harbaugh."

Ali, Mandela and Harbaugh.  That is some impressive company.
