Per Twitter Mike Weber Update

Submitted by JoeyFootball19 on

Per Twitter Mike Weber Update. Teddy Blanks a good Michigan insider tweeted that a meeting with Harbaugh was cancelled lastnight but will reschedule it this week (Good News).

Also Mike Weber tweeted a hour ago " Too young to be stressing like this". Obviously as a young man it must be a very stressful decision to make. Michigan is a serious player still. Most of us on here think hes long gone, not so fast. Let the rumors fly with about a week to go here. It will be a fun ride thats for sure. Go Blue!

Wanted to update for all my non twitter friends.

I've got a hunch that we're in very solid position with Marshall. Seems like a really smart, introspective kid that's aware of how much his college choice will set him up for long term success.

We've got trump cards with NFL experience (don't underestimate DB coach Jackson) and academics for the most part.

Chris Clark on the other hand, not so sure about. I think he ends up elsewhere and may not even be a great fit here after all.

I don't normally assume guys will flip just because they're locals. But am I the only one who just feels like this one is likely to happen? It would be easy for him to end this thing now. But he hasn't. And he clearly has some attachment to Michigan. Plus, Harbaugh and Wheatley. Plus, doesn't Urban normally forbid verbal commits from meeting with coaches from M and MSU? If Weber just met with Dantonio, and if he's scheduled to meet Harbaugh, wouldn't this suggest that he and OSU aren't very solid?

im down with following recruiting and all that, but doesnt it seem a little silly to read into a kids tweet like that? like, this could easily be completely unrelated to football.

As much as I'd love to have this kid on our side next season, I wish for people to leave the kid alone and let him make his choice. If it's not us, so be it, best wishes to him.
