With Michigan leading 31-26 midway through the fourth quarter, Forcier rolled right and threw a pass nowhere near a receiver. Irish safety Kyle McCarthy easily picked off the ball and returned it to the Michigan 36.
Looked to me like he threw it right over Greg Mathews if he had been looking. But maybe that's just my blue tinted glasses.

Good thing the ref's were paid off ala Penn State... From the comments: "Golden Tate gets tackled on a pass play and they don't throw a flag. A ND player gets nailed after the play in FRONT of the ref and nothing gets called. Looks like the checks the refs got from Michigan cleared."
