He needs to revise TWIS today, and get that Spanish translater working, for some good schadenfreude out of Mexico today.

Dove hunting tomorrow AM.

After the way this game has gone, I am not going to just kill those birds. I am going to hurt them. I am going to make it slow and painful. I am going to tie them up, sit them in a little line, and then make them watch as, one-by-one, I leisurely execute their little dove friends.

At this point, torturing helpless animals is the only way to ease the pain of Longhorn football.

re: Florida Gators

we wasted two time outs on things that we should not have to call a time out for in my opinion!!!

Man, this dude is excited about his opinion on timeouts.

Other examples could be:

"we failed to achieve sufficient yardage that we should have gained, in my opinion!!"

"results were not as optimal, in my opinion, as we would have hoped!!"

"we wasted plays throwing the ball when, in fact, the ball was not caught!!"

"the football team from my area is not, in my opinion, better than the football team from your area, and this is troubling!!"

Man, I love the Sparty entry.  And the little aside that this is what they look like when they win.  It looks like the Dantonio honeymoon is winding down and Sparty is returning to the "I can't believe we have to root for both these incompetents and the Lions" fanbase that I know and love.

I can't imagine a way to deliver a smothering-capable quantity of gasoline all at once, fast enough to prevent it from igniting (unless maybe just the bottom part of the gas can catch fire and the rest of it just keeps falling and smothers that bottom part?).

Anyway, like putting out an oil well fire with an explosion, it seems inadvisable to attempt this trick in the defensive backfield.

Strangely enough, that's what the box score reads, but it was over 64 plays, which means that they were moving the ball about 4.1 yards or so per play on average. This is actually a slight improvement from the WMU game, where it was somewhere in the 3.8 yards per play range, I think - the had almost 80 offensive snaps against WMU and only slightly more yards than in the USF game.

I wonder if GERG is going to do alright at Texas.  They've got talent, no doubt, but it seemed Diaz has been just incompetent.  It seemed that, at least defensively, we didn't have the kind of talent that Texas currently does when GERG was here.

I'm not sure how I'll feel if he shores up the Texas defense and they start to perform well.  For now, I suppose I'll just stick to beaver jokes/references.

You know, GERG was hired by Longhorn Network to be an analyst, and to also scout the opponents. I wonder how much of the game plans Texas used this year revolved around notes by GERG?

Regardless that defense is bad. And Greg Robinson most likely will make it worst. Mike Martin I believe said not long after his first Mattison practice that GERG pretty much had them playing backyard football on defense.

Those Texas fans seemed positively desperate to get Gerg on their sideline as fast as possible. How is it possible that they are this clueless as to what they're asking for?
