This is my favorite excerpt:

Elsewhere, someone says he will "go ahead and say" that he will "never forgive Martinez" for an endzone interception that gave the game away, which I hope is true. I hope he's on his deathbed in 50 years and his wife leans in close and he says "goddamn… Taylor Martinez… interception… EEEEEEEEEEE."

Outstanding.

I am also sad. I enjoy reading TWIS at the beginning of each week almost as much as watching the Maize and Blue on Saturday afternoons. I love seeing other fanbases melt down as much as we do sometimes.

my professor(at Xavier) had him in his class and knew that he was the one who got arrested after UC/Pitt game.  She as well as the class gave him a hard time about it.

Abomination? Abomination? South Carolina is the No. 93 pass efficiency defense in the country. You want an abomination I'll show you Michigan's pass defense, which is… 96th. Right. Carry on.

Well played, Mr. Cook.

The best part of TWIS is seeing other fanbases that are full of ANGAR.

We're not the only ones...

(Note: not taking a position on whether we should or should not be 100% ANGAR filled)

I think I love TWIS as much as any sports column I have ever read. The concept of "winning the internet" still cracks me up, no matter how many times I read it.

Do we get one final TWIS installment after bowl season?

Yes, and that point was a missed extra point. But what Brian didn't mention (and is most TWIS-worthy, perhaps even to the point of displacing Nebraska) is that the game went to OT precisely because of a blocked extra point by the same kicker with about 30 seconds left in the game.
