I'm not too impressed by Sparty and Izzzzzzzzzzone so far, he called a timeout when they had a little run and stopped their momentum and they just generally don't look that great, decent at best.
I think we're the better team for sure and wouldn't surprise me if we swept them this year, we shall see.

You probably would have had a fleeting moment of pride, then the reality would sink in: even your own mother isn't proud of you for your moment in the spot light because she doesn't read sports blogs, you didn't use your real name, and while what you posted is kind of funny, it's also embarrassing, so you would have never even shown it to her in the first place. It's about the equivalent of getting a 3 second shot on BTN of you in the crowd because you're dressed in some foolish get-up with your face painted and acting like a drunken idiot. Nobody can recognize you because your face is painted, which at first pisses you off, but once you sober up, and watch the video, you're really, really happy about that.
I just avoided posting on Saturday. I'm not happy, even with Borges, but I don't think firing him is the answer. And there just was no point in descending into the madness and vitriol of Saturday's threads. I don't ever want to be on TWIS.
I know I'm never going to be able to look any UM grad who is also an MSU dad in the face the same way again...

I like limericks a lot better. Don't get me wrong, haikus are fun, but sometimes they're just too easy. For a limerick, you can say more and use both meter and rhyme. Success, therefore, is even more glorious.
White Pony's thread about protesting at Schembechler Hall was classic (inappropriate, but classic) because of his edit. I laughed out loud at that one, if only because punch and pie would definitely increase turnout. That's just good advertising.

If I'm at a zoo or the Shedd or whatever, they're one of the first animals I look for. Watching them swim is a really fun time, as much as hanging out in a tourist trap with a bunch of sweaty people goes. Plus, there's another South Park reference just waiting to be had from the Go God Go two-parter.

I think one of the saddest creatures has got to be the armadillo. He just walks around, minds his own business but has to deal with f-ing predators and automobiles all day. Mother Nature had to give him the ability to roll up into an armored ball so he could go on minding his own business. How unfair is that!? I mean, even turtles get to lounge around on logs in the sunshine. What do armadillos get? Huh?

I feel your pain. I saw that title and immediately assumed you'd get a mention. Maybe Brian knew that and purposely did not give you the pleasure of becoming famous. You know, the whole "ask for something" versus "being awarded something" argument.
