Bummer.

I was kinda bummed about the overall length of this week's edition. Obviously, though, I understand that TWIS comes second to all things mgoblog. I'll take a little TWIS over no TWIS any day of the week.

And a little of Mgoblog over a lot of TWIS.

You can add me to the Syracuse list. I have absolutely no idea where our bowl eligible win is going to come from after shitting the bed three weeks in a row to shitty teams from the shitty Big East.
Meanwhile, our coaching staff continues to run into the pile over and over after we torched West Virginia through the air. When your game plan is to set up 3rd and 5 every set of downs, it's not exactly prone to be successful.
And tight ends, catch the damn ball. Three TD drops to set up a solid 6 points instead of 21 were fun.
Thank God for Michigan football.

Are these the actual words to the Illinois fight song? Talk about generic lyrics.

Oskee-Wow-Wow
- Old Princeton yells her tiger, Wisconsin her Varsity.
- And they give the same old "Rah-rah-rah! at each university.
- But the yell that always thrills me, and fills my heart with joy
- is the good old Oskee-Wow-Wow that they yell at Illinois.
(Chorus)
- Oskee-Wow-Wow, Illinois! Our eyes are all on you.
- Oskee-Wow-Wow, Illinois! Wave your orange and your blue (rah, rah!).
- When the team trots out before you, every man stand up and yell.
- Back the team to gain a victory. Oskee-Wow-Wow, Illinois!
There is also a second verse, which is rarely sung:
- Teddy Roosevelt may be famous, and his name you often hear.
- But it's heroes on the football field each college man holds dear.
- We think with pride of Roberts, Artie Hall and Heavy, too.
- Oskee-Wow-Wow for the wearers of the Orange and the Blue!
