Turner Coming Back?

Submitted by BKFinest on

As per Sam Webb on WTKA, Turner's folks are on their way to Ann Arbor to talk to Turner about this. Seems a bit weird to me, as wouldn't he have spoken to them about this prior to asking for his release? Would RR even allow him back after all this??

Getting interesting...

I think we tend to overlook how much stress these student athletes are under. For a 19 year old to get upset and make a rash decision (like quitting school or a football team) is not out of the ordinary. We should all cut the kid a break and let the situation work itself out. (From his parent's perspective I can't imagine they would be too happy with their son tossing aside a full ride to one of the best universities on the planet, unless it was for a good reason.)

Isn't this the required post after anyone leaves or doesn't get in.  Someone posts a glimmer of hope that quickly gets shut in the days to come.  Dejected because Turner is gone, I understand, but again we want Michigan Men, and we have some, and we are getting others.  Unfortunately it takes more than talent to be a Michigan Man.

to pick his azz up and bring him home?? Doesn't that usually happen after a kid transfers or drops out?

I think I'll wait until Brian or Tim provide the update.

I think we would all welcome him back, obviously.  But it's certainly public at this time that he needs to get his ass in gear if he wants to be a contributor on the Michigan football team.

Justin, talk to your parents, settle down, come back to practice tomorrow, work as hard as you can, lean on your friends, coaches and teammates as much as you need to, and you will be successful.  You, the team, and the fans will be happier because of it.

I wish this would get sorted out fast, I've been holding off all day on playing the rest of my Michigan Dynasty on NCAA because of this Turner drama. He's been a beast in my 2011 season, and I would hate to bury him on the roster(then cutting him in the offseason) only to find out he came back... Looks like MSU is gonna have to wait for their annual beating until this clears up.

Word from the team is that James Rogers slept with his mother.

Everyone on the team knew except for JT Turner and Will Campbell (his boy).

Once he heard, he was so mad - that he threw the first two practices of the year, and is now contemplating taking his talents to South Beach.

I almost transferred to Hope college my sophomore year.  Thank God I didn't do that.  He will be grateful later if he stays.
