Tuley-Tillman Visit Reaction

Submitted by Steve Lorenz on

I talked to Logan after his visit last night and he reaffirmed Michigan as the leader for his services. He loved the treatment he receieved from the coaches, alumni and fellow commits. He specifically mentioned Shane Morris as being a great guy and doing a lot to help bring him on board.

He's excited about going to Alabama for a visit on January 28th, where he'll likely receieve an offer from Coach Saban. I feel like they're the only team that is a real threat to Michigan, but they'll be a real threat.

Was positive. Not sure what his reasons were for redacting it, but basically boiled down to what looks like a Michigan/Alabama fight for him. He is visiting there soon and really excited about it. But sounds like M is still the team to beat.

Our old friend is having a chat right now and had this to say about LTT:

He's going to do his homework, and his family will be very important in his decision. I spent a few hours with him and his family last night, and he's open about saying that Michigan is his leader right now but he still wants to visit places like Alabama, Arkansas, and South Carolina. He is planning on bringing his family up to Michigan around February 12 to see what he has seen and to get them more familiar with the program and coaches. He told me that he hopes Michigan lands prospects like Josh Garnett because that means they'll be a better team and he would rather be a good player on a great team, than a good player on a good team. He thinks it only makes the competition and team better. He was very sincere about that, too, it wasn't just recruit speak.

I don't know if I'm ready to bank on certain 2013 prospects yet since it's early, but LTT is definitely one of the guys I want in a winged helmet.

From everything we've heard from this kid, he seems like a humble kid and very grounded, two qualities which I really appreciate. I know we are getting wrapped up on potential early commits, but I think it's also important that these kids do their research. We've had a couple players drop for various reasons. We should be rooting for Michigan to get guys who stick with their commitment. Doing proper research is going to help with that.
