Sorry I am late with this one, folks - MACtion had to yield to ongoing storm cleanup here in Southeastern Michigan. Still about 85,000 out, but we are making some progress.

Anyway, you have Kent State playing Ohio (NTO) on ESPN2. It's 3-3 about half way into the 1st quarter.

You also have Buffalo playing Miami (NTM) on ESPNU. According to my screen, we're still scoreless in the waning moments of the 1st quarter there.

My friend said her power is out until Saturday. I feel so bad and I feel fortunate enough to have power.

Was it a phone estimate? If it is in our territory, some of those might be blanket estimates and the chances of her being restored before then might be good depending on where and the level of damage. We did have distribution leads in some spots just get shredded by the wind.

The Bobcats did a rather decent impersonation of Mike DeBord calling plays on that last TD drive. Rushes of 4 yards, 1 yard, 8 yards, 3 yards and no yards interspersed with some passing.

In B1G basketball action, Penn State held off La Salle, 79-72, Minnesota currently leads Coastal Carolina with under 7:00 to go, 68-57, and Wisconsin is putting the finishing touches on North Dakota, 91-75, in a game that is the complete opposite of anything resembling Badger basketball I have ever seen.

Does anyone know anything about North Dakota?  They must love to run as that's the only way I can figure that Wisconsin could score 55(!) in a half and be on pace for 100(!!!).

Oh, I almost forgot ... Rutgers.  Our future conference brethren really showed their might this evening against the mighty Dragons of Drexel, getting soundly defeated at home, 70-59.  Thanks, Delany.

Wisconsin has reached the century mark, now holding a 103-83 lead with a minute left.  I'm sure this has happened under Bo Ryan more than I think but it still amazes me.

Wisconsin.  100 points.  Without the benefit of seven overtimes.  Wonders never cease!
