Tuesday Night NCAA Football Open Thread

Submitted by LSAClassOf2000 on

Yeah, we're in that time of the season where there is football on more days than not. It may not be all that good sometimes, but alas, it is football. Tonight, this is MACtion.

We have Ohio at Bowling Green on ESPN3, so basically catch this online. We also have Buffalo taking on the Rockets in Toledo over on ESPNU. For the few of you that will watch, please do enjoy.

Might also want to include the Champions Classic as well in this thread since Michigan is for sure playing 2 of these teams this season and there is probably between 10-12 first round picks on the court between the two games.

So, apparently Buffalo came all the way to Toledo to self-immolate early in the game. The Rockets are up 21-0 with 229 yards of offense in just the first quarter - at about an 11 yards per snap rate too.

From the box score, the situation for Ohio isn't any prettier as Bowling Green is also ahead by 3 TDs right now.

Well, as someone said, two potentially interesting games have become drubbings in process. In Toledo, the Rockets have put up 350 yards and 31 points on Buffalo. In kind, Buffalo has not done much of anything, including find the end zone or the uprights.

In Bowling Green.....yikes. The Falcons have 406 yards of offense to Ohio's 50. It's a real barn burner, except all that happened is that BGSU walked right over and set fire to the Bobcats' barn.
