I don't think we've had a good, old-fashioned midweek MACtion thread in quite some time. I will admit to missing them - they usually produce some great commentary. 

I also am amused at how "MACtion" is now a thing on ESPN apparently. I don't think I've ever heard them use the term before.

If you have not seen Bowling Green football play yet, you are in for a treat.  The BG offense is as up-tempo and wide spread as anything and the results are incredible.  Early in the season they hammered Maryland while more than doubling the Terps in total yards.  They are undefeated in conference play as nobody has slowed down the offense - and now the defense is playing well holding Akron to 10 and shutting out Kent in the last two.

The QB Matt Johnson should be a Heisman candidate and if he has some great showings on national TV these next few weeks, he could end up in NY for the presentation.  And the star WR Roger Lewis is a beast.  He should at minimum be invited to NY for the Biletnikoff.  He may very well win.

I kind of like these jerseys for Toledo. With color on color games being more popular now, I wonder if Jordan and Michigan will ever do a yellow jersey ONLY for away games. A WD dream come true.

We should do it for the spring game.

ALL maize vs. ALL blue and call it the Maize & Blue game.

However, never touch the jerseys for a REAL game again. That era is over.

I like getting crazy for the spring game...you could still sell them too, WD would buy a maize spring game jersey in a heart beat.

This one is going down to the wire...or maybe not with that tipped INT. NIU's back-up QB did a great job to get them back into the game. Bummer for the Rockets (6th straight loss to NIU). They just ran out of gas.
