Tuesday Night Drinking Thread Christmas Edition
we just killed a 13# standing rib roast, with Yorkshire pudding. Dear God, it was gooood.
Apres diner, a couple of neat bourbons (Elijah Craig followed by a Maker's 46), and 20 minutes in the hot tub. Worked up a nice sweat, now focused completely on my sister-in-law's world-class ass.
I swear to God I wanna stick my face straight in it.
First and best post of the night.
Pic or it didn't happen.
I agree. I'd love to see that standing rib roast too!
Sippin out of my moose mug
Is this person you're ogling your wife's sister or your brother's wife?
Maybe it's both. Wrap your head around that.
working on the pic. Might take me a day or two. They're here all week.
I stared all night long on Xmas eve. After 10 years, it's obvious I can't look away from her ass. Nice wagons too!
...aware that you've taken an interest in her sisters derrière? This could, eventually, make for an interesting diary entry.
Sharing is caring?
Saved a Founders Devil Dancer.
and a Backwoods Bastard.
Followed by 6-7 Centennial Ales.
A Grand Rapidian in PA.
Nice selection. I have a 4-pack of Devil Dancer I'm saving for the wife until after she has our first kid.
As for me, I'm going to tear into this Buffalo Trace the in-laws got me. Merry Christmas!
Christmas tradition says I will be enjoying a glass of Makers Mark. It was my dads favorite drink, he always had it in his Makers glass with one ice cube. It took me some time to aquire that taste but I always drink it that way in his memory.
Great stuff. On top of that, my oldest daughter has a Christmas birthday. And she's a U-M student now. So my wife and I feel pretty blessed. Merry Christmas everyone.
Had a couple Fat Tires before, and after I finished the one I had with dinner I'll move on to my first ever bottle of scotch. My little sister got me a bottle of Ardmore Traditional Cask, which I'm told is a very good bang for the buck.
Fat tire. Had a great Christmas with my family.
Atwater java vanilla porter. It's fantastic. I had a hazelnut porter earlier today which was awful so this is a nice chance
Keeping it sort of simple - rounding out Christmas with some Paulaner Salvatore Double Bock and some leftover Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen. We cooked some of a typical English Christmas meal - the traditional (for my family anyway) turkey with roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts as well parsnips.
I had a fifth of the e.h. Taylor tornado bourbon and it was delicious. How is the small batch?
I haven't had any of the other E.H. Taylor batches so I can't compare to the others. I'm a bourbon drinker, but I'm definitely not a bourbon expert. With that said, here is my brief review.
For a 100 proof bourbon it is pretty smooth. It is much sweeter than I expected. Strong taste of wood as well. Pretty tasty, but could be more balanced.
How was the tornado. That was a bourbon I wanted to try. Great story behind it.
Verrazano chianti. It's the best
Kept it simple with centenial and a box set of the wire I got for Xmas. Ain't life grand
The in-laws are here so I had to go with what they prefer...Corona. Ugh, god help me.
Bushido Brown only drinks top micro brews from Japan.
They call it Corona because that is where it comes from. Mexican piss water.
Love the stuff!
Bought the cherry on Friday. Excellent!
Will be testing it out as a martini, with a twist. Dinner hasn't started yet out west.
Love me some Tito's. Enjoy!
Tequila is vicious. I have had some great agave in my day... And while its not top shelf.. It will hurt you! Stay Away
Green tea at China Chef in Morton Grove, Il. Jewish Christmas.
During the A Christmas Story marathon. Fa ra ra ra ra...
Chasing tail golden ale
Grey Goose martinis. Very Merry in the Keys
I'm on my 2nd neat single malt Auchentoshan 16 year, Limited Edition
I started the evening and watched the OKC/Mia game with a few Bell's Hopslam Ale, starting to felt it now.
couldn't go too crazy today, so stuck to Harpoon Winter Warmer.
Wyoming Whiskey with one cube of ice. Not great, but a good drink and I like supporting the local businesses.
Lagunitas Little Sumpin' Wild Ale. Never had it, good gift.
That's what I'm talking about...waiting now for some football...can't believe there is only one Michigan game left...
I got a bomber of three philosophers Belgium quadrupel dated 2011 from Brewery Ommegang, and Klüdde from Brewery Vivant for Christmas. Needless to say I am excited.
Today I had some 12 from Victory, and three philosophers dated 2012. Pretty fantastic Christmas!
Now I'm watching a horrible looking basketball game (seriously here are some uniforms to complain about).
I'm sipping on some sweet red wine.
Working on the rest of my bottle of Black Note. Had some for breakfast with my bacon.
Franzia. Because I'm a classy bastard.
When you're Dr. a2_electricboogaloo you can buy it ten liters at a time, maybe even fifteen.
Dear god. I can fill a tub full of it and get drunk through diffusion.
There are so many boxed wines that are way better and just a bit more expensive. Check them out.
It wasn't my choice in wine, but it was free, so I'm not going to complain.
Had a spotted cow then a few fat tire's, now to good ole coors light
Little bit of Bell's This One Goes to 11.
Captain and Diet
Thats a good damn beer and strong..its a lot like Roundhouse from bells. Just a double. Hopslam should be out in 3 weeks or so. Get ready!
Taste great and the price is right.
Had a Lagunitas Little Sumpin during the day, and some awesome Sangria I made Sunday and let sit. Wow..that was really REALLY good. If anyone wants the recipe, let me know.crazy good, and my while family loved it.
Heli-skiing at CMH Bobbie Burns lodge. 20+ feet of snow!
Convinced my brother to part with one of his Founders KSBs from last year. Poor decision on his part; it actually exceeded expectations.
