Tuesday Night College Basketball, But Really A "Go Gophers"...Thread

Submitted by B-Nut-GoBlue on

What's everyones take?  Do the Gophers stand a chance or is Indiana in cruise control to win and pretty much take the Conference title by themselves?

I think the Gophers need a lot of things to go right in order for them to win; a lot of things that I don't think will happen.  I half think they may be set-up better than Illinois was to beat a team like Indiana, and Illinois of course pulled it off.  So, never say never.

Winning out will not be easy but we control our destiny.  Great feeling.  Helluva performance by MInny.  Those who say Minny can beat anyone and could very well be an Elite 8 team aren't making stuff up.  Mbawke playing like he did tonight is a sight to see.  Minny playing controlled and having their leaders step up makes them dangerous.  Great win for them and MICHIGAN!

Our Big Ten fate is in our hands again, got to like that.  I know it's probably asking way too much, but I'd love for Wisconsin to go down tonight too; on a full court shot.

Assuming Michigan takes care of business tomorrow night in Happy Valley, by this time tomorrow M will be:

Tied for second place in the B1G with MSU and Wisco with three games left and home games against MSU and Indiana still on the schedule. Win both and they get the second consecutive B1G title.

After tomorrow night's games I'll try to do a more in-depth scenario analysis of the end of season and B1G tourney seeding possibilities.

Jimmy Dykes is such a SEC homer, trying to make a case for Florida still being a 1 seed. Their quality wins don't compare to Michigan or anyone in the top tier of the Big Ten.
