Tuesday Night College Basketball, But Really A "Go Gophers"...Thread
Totally different team, but time to TCB in State College
Winning out will not be easy but we control our destiny. Great feeling. Helluva performance by MInny. Those who say Minny can beat anyone and could very well be an Elite 8 team aren't making stuff up. Mbawke playing like he did tonight is a sight to see. Minny playing controlled and having their leaders step up makes them dangerous. Great win for them and MICHIGAN!
That should be 7 for B10, and I would sure hate to be the six or seven seed that catches MN in the tourney.
I'd be surprised if Minny was worse than a 7 seed. #1 SOS and a high RPI.
Just. Win. Baby.
Our Big Ten fate is in our hands again, got to like that. I know it's probably asking way too much, but I'd love for Wisconsin to go down tonight too; on a full court shot.
On another note, just for one night I wish Nebraska wasn't atrocious at basketball
My hearts still pounding and Michigan didn't even play. Is it March yet?
...it doesn't compare unless you're comparing to Iowa/PSU
The big ten doesn't sanction against field rushes and court stormings.
Assuming Michigan takes care of business tomorrow night in Happy Valley, by this time tomorrow M will be:
Tied for second place in the B1G with MSU and Wisco with three games left and home games against MSU and Indiana still on the schedule. Win both and they get the second consecutive B1G title.
After tomorrow night's games I'll try to do a more in-depth scenario analysis of the end of season and B1G tourney seeding possibilities.
a TWIS for the basketball season. It would be almost as good, if not better than the football one I think.
we win the B1G title. Damn that Wisconsin game.
Two minutes left until Florida's chance for #1 seed is officially over!
this is the most amazing block I've ever seen
Jimmy Dykes is such a SEC homer, trying to make a case for Florida still being a 1 seed. Their quality wins don't compare to Michigan or anyone in the top tier of the Big Ten.
Down goes Florida. This should help move Michigan move onto the 1 seed line.
