so much for that
Tuesday Night College Basketball, But Really A "Go Gophers"...Thread
Minnesota is just "that" team that can literally beat any team in the country...or lost to half the teams in the country. So talented, if you get their best effort, you'll probably lose.
I really think that win on the road will be huge for Michigan down the road.
I'm not saying they're world beaters, but they're dangerous. And because they're going to lose to teams they shouldn't it makes it even worse. Losing to IU is one thing, they're the best team in the country. Losing to Minnesota really isn't that bad, but because they're going to lose 2-3 games they shouldn't it's going to look worse than it is.
“True loyalty is that quality of service that grows under adversity and expands in defeat. Any street urchin can shout applause in victory, but it takes character to stand fast in defeat. One is noise — the other, loyalty.”
please, please let your play be "Golden" tonight!
Also, Gophers, stop with the matador defense

Who's more deserving of the NCAA Tournament right now? Illinois or Minnesota?

I think they're both in as of today . . . but Illinois's recent body of work is much better.
They each have wins over each other on the other team's home court.
Minnesota has legit wins over Sparty, Memphis and Wisconsin.
Illinois has legit wins over Butler, Gonzaga, Indiana and OSU.
Illinois is in. I think Minnesota is in with a win tonight seeing their last 3 games are against the bottom dweller teams.
Go Blue! Always!
I feel like Indiana is being super aggressive on the offensive end and is trying to match Minnesota's intensity.
Got to keep it close. Try to limit turnovers.
Here's hoping for a bright future. This team does try hard and I will continue to support them.
Minnesota's not blowing IU out. If they win, it'll be Illinois 2.0
You hit it on the head...just keep it close and hope to have the ball at the end with a chance to win the game.

It's relieving to watch Dakich troll another fan base for once.
god Hulls cannot miss. That's what Stauskas needs to be

I have never been watching when he plays well. Looks quite out of it tonight.
Is he trolling Minnesota or Indiana? Did he put one of those graphics up that ranks Minnesota over Indiana in the conference? That'd be cute. Real cute.
HAIL.
"PG, go do something."
3 ball!

If anyone is intrigued, here are the shooting percentages for the Gophers and Hoosiers at halftime...
| FG% | 3FG% | FT% | Eff. FG% | |
| MINNESOTA | 40.0% | 14.3% | 83.3% | 41.7% |
| INDIANA | 39.3% | 41.7% | 87.5% | 47.1% |

I realize they're going all out to stop Zeller, but there isn't any excuse for giving up 14 points to Jordan Hulls in one half.
Minny can't hit a 3 to save its life.
It's been a lot. Its been a roller coaster that for some reason seemed like it would never get good. But you know what? We kept fighting. It's like that old saying goes, "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions." -David Molk
This is a very winnable game for Minnesota, get something to fall and they're in it
Damn they just keep jacking 'ep up

They shoot 30% the last 10 3's they're leading by 1...frustrating to watch, really glad I'm not a minny fan
don't want to think about this, but this is what we could end up looking like if the three ball isn't on.
2013 will be the year.
WHY is MN continuing this outside shooting futility. It looks like the +matchup for them is inside game.

Jesus minn keeps getting open 3s but can't hit a thing.
Hipster Dan Dakich always tries to humble brag about how he knew every HS basketball player in the state of Indiana before they blew up.
"Cody Zeller was the same way back in High School, not willing to take over a game."
"I remember watching Glenn Robinson as a Sophomore in High School..."
Cool bro. Grab a PBR. Nobody cares.
He and Jimmy Dykes truly think they're the two smartest people in the world. I wish they'd join Cowherd on a ship and fly away forever.
...will end the year as 1 seeds. Take it to the bank.
Indiana is very fortunate with Minnesota missing all these open 3's.
No team has missed this many open 3's against us in all of our games combined.
Go Blue! Always!
Dakich thinks IU is by far the best team? Color me shocked.
Now is the time for MANBALL! Attack the paint Gophers!
Abort, Retry, Fail?
Can't watch the game anymore. The snow has messed up my satellite signal.
Go Blue! Always!
...or this game is going to get out of hand.
They have to get it back under 5.

Looks like a muitin
