TT-Tressel Talk??

Submitted by KingsWolverine on
With all the news about tSIO and Tressel, I am proposing the TT prior to any posts on these threads. Anyone else agree?

I think TT should stand for Tressel Topic, but I also think that having "Tressel" in the title is a clear enough indication of what the thread is about.

Agreed. Just don't suggest that we cut back on talking about every angle of this multiple times. How often do you get to have the entire world throwing shit at tUoOS with the rest of us? Today should be a national holiday.

I will agree with you. But I haven't hardly read any of the threads today because they seem really redundant, and I have been logged in all day. It reminds me of another specific topic that occurred about 1.5 - 2 months ago, where everyone and their hamster had an opinion. Trust me, I despise that school in Ohio, but I am already sick of this story. I just can't wait until the NCAA has their say.

Personally, I hope that this issue drags out for months.  Imagine if the NCAA conducts a 6-8 month long in-depth investigation into OSU?  The media needs to fill a vacuum, and there would be regular doses of "will Tressel be fired????" stories run in the MSM.  Hell, imagine if OSU loses a game or two that they should otherwise win?  The fans might even start to revolt, and we know the effect that this could have on a program.

Hell, if this story drags on until after the season, it could impact OSU recruiting, and maybe we can start to win some of the recruiting battles for the huge midwest talent pool.

I would be willing to deal with  5 new TT topics a day for that to happen.

What if the allegations get so serious that it starts to look like they're going to replace Tressel?  Then we'll have to use the TT(CC) tag.  And then, what if they decide they need a recently-available spread offense guru to maximize Pryor's potential?  Then it'll have to be TT(CC[RR])!  Where will it end?
