Mount St. Mary's hired a private equity CEO to be their president. You'll never guess what happened next.
Whoa. Congrats! Hope he stays healthy and makes a roster.
Can't wait to get a Woolfork jersey.
FU! Love the Boys in BIG D! Congrats, i'll be routing for you to make the 53 man roster! GO BLUE!
you have expensive wood-working tools doesn't mean you are better than the rest of us.
Go BIG or go home.
Perseverance pays. Great job Troy.
stick a fork in him he ain't done yet!
Edit: Overrated!? Come on. julesh, the post right above mine, spelled his last name Woolfork instead if Woolfolk. Plus all the injuries he's had the last couple of years could easily have meant he went undrafted. The Cowboys pick him up. Showing he isn't done yet. He still has a chance to shine in the NFL even though that chance was lmited in the NCAA due to injuries. Don't stick a fork in him he ain't done yet. That's at least a little creative. Certainly not overrated.
Congrats to Troy. Any word on Koger?
also got picked up - to the Washington Redskins :)
Hope he can stay healthy in order to get a real shot - man just could not stay healthy the past couple years - can't make the club from the tub
in eons (if ever?). But for you, Troy, I may even watch them.
No, but you have to go back to 1991, 11th rd, 13th pick, Dallas took Tony Boles, RB. Then to the 80's (and earlier):
1985 - 1.17 - Kevin Brooks, DE
1983 - 8.24 - Lawrence Ricks, RB
1982 - 4.18 - Brian Carpenter, DB
1972 - 3.12 - Mike Keller, LB
1969 - 3.16 - Tom Stinic, LB
That's as far back as I went.
I admit Tony Boles is the only name I recognize, but I wasn't aware he was a Cowboy. Must have been before I paid attention.
Welcome to Arlington Troy. Looking forward to seeing you trade in the winged hemlet for one with the star on it.
I know they are thin in the secondary. Woolfolk could also make an impact on Special Teams coverage or even kick returns
Because he's not making that team at cornerback. Dallas has a huge need at safety so if he comes in a plays hard he has a shot.
Congrats to Troy, lets hope the injury bug that followed him around at UM is finally gone.
congrats to troy. after everything he's been through he's earned this. he is a spitting image of physical and mental toughness. go get it buddy.
Sorry Troy I can't do the Cowboys. Good luck landing somewhere else. Then we'll talk.
They do need help in the secondary, so if Tloy can get back his speed, he could be a nice nickel corner.
hope he can shake off the injury bug. He could be a nice contributor on a D that really needs it
