[Troll posts fake Jabrill Peppers rumor]

[ED:BiSB - Someone created a fake Nick Baumgardner account at MLive and "broke" the story. Peppers remains at Michigan. And yes, he IS still hurt.

I'm not saying it's not true, but do mlive reporters have a history of breaking these stories in the comment sections of their articles?  Isn't the normal route twitter then article?

I'm not one to get too sold on any one recruit, but he's past the point of being a recruit - he came into the family. If this is true, I fear it could indicate something inside the program that even a Hagerup letter can't overcome. Crap.

Most over-hyped recruit ever...not saying he won't be great somewhere else, but people on here compared him to Charles Woodson before he played a snap.

I mean, why would he transfer now? It's not like he can leave tomorrow, and go sign up for Rutgers, Penn State, OSU, whatever, next week. He would have to sit out the season, without access to proper training equipment, trainers, meals, etc. Anyone who transfers does so in December or in early January -- after classes and after the season

Not to mention -- I know he's a football player, but he's still a student, right? Why drop out in the middle of the semester unless there is a serious issue (and by "serious", I mean "death in the family", not "disagreement with coaches")?

a spartan fan came to this site, created an account and posted a thread about tate breaking either his arm or leg, can't remember which... this place went into full on melt down mode until the mod's outed him as being a troll... IIRC the guy used is his michigan state email when he created the account there, one of the mods posted his email and then it was on from there... ahh the good old days...

Knew it was fake from the beginning.  If Nick Baumgardner really had gotten that message from the coaches he would have editted the MLIVE post or made a new one.  No way in hell he would have brought that kind of info out in the comments section.
