5-8 FG, so his summer league shooting slump didn't carry over. Sounds like he did most of work in minutes that weren't that important, but the quick recap ESPN did tonight mentioned that he looked aggressive on both ends of the floor.
Trey Burke scored 11 points in 12 minutes tonight
But know that the site looks down on self upvotes, which is probably my fault for giving out these points. NEG ME GUYZZ... Oh wait, sorry.
I think it shows a certain moxy.
I never look, upvotes are pretty insignificant now that they hold no value.
Either this went right over my head or I missed the time when points had value.
They never did anything, which is the same as up voting and down voting posts within threads. The voting is only around to make people feel better about themselves.
It totally worked! I felt good all over when I upvoted myself!

I always thought what was the reason people made multiple accounts.
To know that he had upvoted himself, did you check the voting details tab? If so, why on earth would you care enough about this post, or anything involved in it to do that?
I gave him the points to post and he replied about upvoting in the other thread. I sincerely do not care if someone wants to upvote their own thread. IIRC PGB did it sometimes just for the hell of it.
Burke was playing well in the preseason good to see him make an immediate impact
is just internet masturbation.
Cuz I just found out you could do that!
Oh God. Do you know how many different people I've upvoted on here over the past few years? I need to take a cold shower.
I never upvote myself.
To Trey. Here is to this being the first game in a long career!
It is a shame that Trey's contribution was not part of a win last night, but it is great to hear that he now has the first game of hopefully many, many more in the books. I wonder if Trey Burke might end up being one of the most watched players in the history of this board in his post-Wolverine years.
Go Burke!!! Piston will regret not drafting him. Apologies to KCP.
I don't care when people up vote their own thread, but I do think it is lame that a thread was posted that simply noted Trey's stats. Are we going to get a thread every time the guy plays a game? Let's just call it "Trey Burke: open thread."
You're so tough.
This was his pro debut. But yes, stats from every game here on out, and specifically just to annoy you. It's fun sometimes to prod angry people. Can't wait for a 9 point, 4 assist game in late February now - you're gonna blow your top on that one.
As I stated, that does not bother me one bit.
I think it's lame when people keep making new accounts only to do the same annoying things that got them banned in the first place.
But that's just me.
I watched the game and he was very solid on both offense and defense. I think he only played 12 minutes but he definitely made the most of them. As always, he looked great with the pick and roll. He went around a screen and drilled a 3 from the top of the arc. He also had a perfect pass down low to Favors for an easy two. Burke drove the ball easily on his first four points with nifty layups. He also added a steal to which he was rewarded on the other end with an easy layup. I'm super excited for him to start playing more minutes because not only is he on my fantasy team (17 fantasy points in 12 minutes which is very very good) but he is also so fun to watch.
Yes to the thread.
How many players of the year have we had that had their pro debuts?
Heck of a line for Gordon Hayward in that game. 1-17 from the floor, ouch! Yet he still managed 11 assists. Weird weird line.
Burke looked good. He'll look even better when the Jazz add Wiggins or Jabari Parker because clearly their tanking to make that happen.
Oh wait we traded it...
For those who don't know, Knicks owner James Dolan is the Al Borges of NBA management. Isaiah Thomas is the Greg Funk.
And he could've been a Piston. Grrr.
