against Sparty. Trey was awesome last year, he just has more experience now and better players around him, I get tired of the "oh my, Trey is soooo much better this year", duh.

Also, watching this game just reminds of how damn good we are this year, bless Zach & Stu, but damn, that team went 13-5 in the B1G with Evan as well. This years team is light years better, I can't wait to whoop up on some teams that deserve a whoopin'.

So many people were freaking out about Smot leaving, which was understandable at the time. However, until I read your comment, I had not thought about him at all this season. He was a good player, but I'm not even sure how many minutes he'd be getting on this squad. We're THAT deep.

Football is both an identity and a terminal illness. A rhythm and a chaos and an opiate for the mind all at once.

that you didn't even think of him till my comment, I agree that he would have a tough time getting minutes had he stayed, I think he saw the writing on the wall, I wish him well unless it's against us of course.

We are in good hands for sure and it's so much fun to watch.

It's the opposing teams that need to worry about us, not the other way around.

I think he would have played a decent amount of minutes, and because of that I think mcgary and glenn robinson's minutes would both have been less. If he would have stayed I think we would actually be a worse team, because we would feel the need to play him, which wouldn't have allowed the development as much of the development of glenn and mcgary.

Keep in mind that Beilein was not afraid to limit Vogrich's playing time and put him behind LeVert in the rotation even though he is a senior who played a decent amount the last two years. If Smotrycz had stayed and wasn't performing as well as others, I bet Beilein would limit his minutes as well.

Very nice, and congratulations to Trey on yet another honor, and a national one at that. This comes after two Big Ten Player Of The Week honors already this season, if I remember correctly as well. The props keep rolling in for this team, and it is nice to see.

Him go against Craft. Last year he was able to bother Trey a bit, but it doesn't look like that will be the case this year. He has too many moves and too many weapons around him this year.

Trey Burke has about 6 inches left on his journey. His physical game has been honed over years and years and has arrived. If he can now traverse the final 6 inches, he will prove to be the second coming of Isaiah Thomas (albeit with a much better disposition and personality).

If young Trey can complete the last leg of his journey, we are in for a very rare treat. Complete domination. We find out Sunday if the distance between his ears has been completed. If his will to win has taken on absolution, then Michigan is untouchable. If he has realized that he needs to kill challengers. That he needs to attack and destroy his fiercest rival with pure focus. The signs of this will be the expressions on Aaron Crafts face. He must be annihilated.
