don't like to say players are NBA ready until they finish school (more like if they finish school), but this is the one case I will say this is definitely a young man that is ready to take the next step.  He played with poise, aggression, and a will to win this season, and I am so proud to call him a Michigan Wolverine. He will be missed.

I guess the fact that he hasn't outright decided to leave yet is a positive.

So many players just came out and said they were entering the draft after the tourney.  or does he have to go to the Ann Arbor YMCA and announce that he is taking his talents to Auburn Hills?

He'll never be more marketable than he is right now. Why risk a career ending injury no matter how unlikely it is. Take the millions and run. Best of luck to one of the most dynamic players in Michigan sports history.

The last consensus National Player of the Year to go back to school was Tyler Hansbrough. He came back and won the National Championship. Just saying.

For some reason I have a feeling he will be coming back.

If not, I wish this kid all the luck in the world. He has earned every dollar of his NBA contract, whenever he decides to go.

The NBA draft this year is pretty terrible so if he wants to risk being on an awful team then he could go pro. On the other hand, next years draft is supposed to be loaded with talent and he could very well end up in a much better situation by getting drafted by a playoff team later in the first round. Backing up Chris Paul or Tony Parker for a few years might be a better career move than starting for the Kings

Love that kid.  Wish him the best whatever he does.  Matter of fact, I change my mind.  I want him to go pro and make the big bucks.  This isn't about what is best for Michigan, it's about what is best for Trey Burke.  He's already given his best for Michigan.  If he comes back, I'll be paranoid all season that he'll get injured and jack up his NBA future.  <please Trey Burke don't read this..... I can't tell whether that suggests he'll stay or go.

As much as we would all love to have him back, the kid's got to think of himself and his family.

A return is 1000% less likely than Lewan's. If he goes I'd have no hard feelings. If he stays by some miracle and THJ realizes he isn't ready yet (he isn't) we have a team I'm not afraid to call the absolute favorite to win it all. Final Four, hands down. Yet, I'm at a stage where I just hope we only lose Burke as nobody else on this team is NBA ready despite having high NBA prospects like GR3. Just none other than Burke are mentally and physically ready for the NBA.
