Nice step-back pull-up:

...the day was a no win, I learned to never miss my bus again.
November 14th, 2014 at 10:27 PM ^
I stand corrected!
The rare MOD edit where they don't select the first thread as the one to keep.
Cherish this moment, they don't come around too often. Well done. I'd play the lottery...or go to the bar and hit on the hottest girl you see.
Well done, very lucky.
November 14th, 2014 at 10:29 PM ^
Are we supposed to know what the Hell you are talking about?
November 14th, 2014 at 10:34 PM ^
...the OP happened to be last to the party. The Mods decided to keep this thread and delete the ones that were actually posted first.
Doesn't happen too often, usually the first is the one they keep and the rest are deleted.
Nevermind me, I'm not drunk and I'm already home...Dave Brandon, what do I do now?!
Edit: explained below...very reasonable. The one was simply better. Makes sense to me.
November 14th, 2014 at 10:35 PM ^
They usually keep the best one. Try to do a better job next time.

Anytime I get opportunity to post awesome Kris Kross lyrics - I seize the moment
(And not always or even "usually" death by trident...unless it's just obvious, usually the first one stays)
November 14th, 2014 at 11:08 PM ^
You are at least keeping the entertainment level up in the thread they decided to keep.

Don't. Smoke. Crack.
November 14th, 2014 at 10:31 PM ^
Had to edit two OP's earlier this week (for reference I probably haven't edited two others all season) and earlier this week LSA did the same thing taking down the first post and leaving the second.
In this case the OP had the video and the first one didn't.
November 15th, 2014 at 1:37 AM ^
Nice Kriss Kross reference. Impressive... most impressive.
November 14th, 2014 at 10:55 PM ^
One thing that hopefully does not go underappreciated here is Carmelo Anthony holding the ball against his head with that "I have to think, think, think..." look after the basket. Trey is going carve out a role inthe NBA and it will be a nice, valuable role much like it is with the Jazz right now, so it seems.
November 15th, 2014 at 12:59 PM ^
Melo had just hit a three (banked) to tie it at 100.
November 14th, 2014 at 10:26 PM ^
from keyboard envy. Too late to the post party.

Great play. Classic Trey!

GRIII got his first minutes of the season tonight.
8 minutes, a rebound, and a point
November 14th, 2014 at 10:34 PM ^
DAMN YOUUUUUU
November 15th, 2014 at 2:13 AM ^
I read that as 1 minute 8 points at first....lol
November 14th, 2014 at 10:33 PM ^
GRIII with his first career point tonight I believe.
November 14th, 2014 at 10:39 PM ^
And I was at this game...so many feels! So confused!
November 14th, 2014 at 10:55 PM ^
You get a lot of stares? Ya know, with half a face and all?
November 15th, 2014 at 12:22 AM ^
was there. all the confused.

Some people have it. Some people don't. That guy has ice water running through his veins.

Trey is the MAN! Hey Pistons, how is that KCP pick looking now?
November 14th, 2014 at 11:21 PM ^
Drop it, I love Trey Burke but NBA insiders are saying If he doesn't start hitting his jumpers Exum is going to take his job

Exum can't shoot at all. I don't think that would be the only reason. They need a pg that will distribute and Trey's assists numbers have not been good this yr. He has rebounded on that his last couple games tho. We will see. The pick of Exum was really strange as far as team fit. Bc u really can't play him off ball since the def will sag way off him. Will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Hope Trey keeps his job

Would you move Burke over to the 2?

Trey is too small to guard the 2.
November 15th, 2014 at 10:05 AM ^
Monta Ellis, Jason terry, Ben Gordon in his hay day, Avery Bradley, there's a bunch of undersized sg in the league

But Trey isn't as dynamic athletically or as explosive as those guys. He also hasn't shown he can shoot the long ball with proficiency so it's hard to put him off ball and expect good things. He's at his best with the ball in his hands.
Trey also couldn't guard DJ Augustin when the Pistons played the Jazz. He sure as hell couldn't guard any NBA 2s.
November 15th, 2014 at 9:44 AM ^
To "shooting" guard. Trey's biggest attribute is his responsible ball handling and ability to run the offense. He will have a good year and the Jazz will realize he's their PG of the future although Exum is more talented.
November 15th, 2014 at 10:06 AM ^
getting rid of some responsibilities sometimes opens up other parts of players game

I think when a team drafts a point guard one season and then turns around and drafts another point guard the very next season, it's safe to say they aren't very high on the first point guard they drafted.
If Trey continues to post shooting splits of 32.7-25.5-80, he'll be out of thestarting lineup sooner rather than later, unless the Jazz are planning on tanking, then it will be shoot, Trey, shoot.
November 15th, 2014 at 12:23 AM ^
Fuck off man. We love Burke for what he did at Michigan but the KCP bashing has to stop. KCP has been lights out this year on offense and is a top 3 on ball defender in the NBA.

More importantly, Brandon Jennings has looked like an elite pg lately. He destroyed John Wall and gave OKC the biz tonight.
November 15th, 2014 at 9:32 AM ^
Considering as of me writing this ESPN.com shows Burke as having a FG% of 32.7%, I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Pistons are more than fine with passing on Burke.
November 14th, 2014 at 11:15 PM ^
Last night play the Grizzlies. He hit a 3 so pretty that the stands went quiet. My son and I smiled and threw our hand up.
Hella game winning lay up for Memphis with 0.3 to go.

Trigga Trey baby!
November 14th, 2014 at 11:29 PM ^

Damn I miss Trey

"One lucky shot deserves another," nice little jab at Carmelo's banked-in 3 to tie the game at 100.

Does anyone still have that 2013 M basketball highlight video set to a remix of "The Ecstasy of Gold" from "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly"?
