Trey Burke deserves a nickname

Submitted by Erik_in_Dayton on

Here are my suggestions (which, for the literal-minded, are not necessarily meant to be taken seriously - you've been warned):

Nails

Trey of Ann Arbor, the Never-Squeamish

Blue Velvet

The Mulholland Driver

Lefty

The Death Dealer - of Death

Poncho

Baron von Quicksilver

Jelly Roll Morton

Ralph Biggum

Quetzalcoatl, Jr.

Diamond Joe

Vice Duke Heinrich Wilhelm Laggenthorpe III, the Destroyer of Dreams

Leadbelly

Spartan Killer

The Impressively Mature Young Man

Justice Brandeis

---Any additions?

Well since his poise and ice cold heroics at the end of games reminds me of Chauncey Billups, I would suggest CB4. I got the 4 by adding Chauncey's jersey number (1) when he was a Piston with Trey's number (3) as a Wolverine. Mathematical bitches!

My family has been slowly coming up with nicknames for everyone on the team. The names have a tendency to morph over time, but this is where we're at as of last night's game:

Burke = Maestro

Hardaway = Black Adonis

McGary = Bieber Fever

Stauskas = The Canadian Assassin

Robinson = Silent but deadly (yes, this is obviously a very long nickname; we're working on it)

Morgan = Morgan (hard to get a beat on his personality - very business like dude)

Albrecht = Spike (hard to beat his first name, actually)

LeVert = The Walking Stick (you know, the long skinny bug that blends in with the tree bark)
