Trey Burke at CP3 Elite Guard Camp

Spoke to Aaron Craft at the airport in Greensboro, NC today. He told me he had attended this Chris Paul guard camp in Winston Salem, NC, and said Trey had played really well there this past weekend. Seemed like a genuine kid, based on the few words he spoke with me. The camp featured the nation's best guards, and you had to be selected to attend the camp, so Congrats to Trey!

The list of attendees are here:

I have recently had a tough time disliking OSU's basketball team.  Craft seems like a really good kid.  Appreciate the work he puts in on defense.  Sullinger always had great things to say about our team.  I dislike MSU's basketball program 10-fold in comparison to OSU's.

Also great to see Burke still putting the work in.  Before he came to Michigan his practice videos were unbelievable to watch.  Im glad his head did not swell after his successful freshmen year, and that he is still putting in the work.  Kid is going to be successfull.

Great to have TB3 back for at least another year. If this is his last season at Michigan, hopefully he can help make it highly successful.

Also cool to see Ray McCallum on the camp list as well. Detroit is my second favorite basketball team (my whole family went there and I've been to a hundred games) and I'm really excited to see what did getting that team to the tournament this year, and what he can do next year as well.

I don't know if this is worthy of its own post (I don't have enough points anyway) but Glenn Robinson III and the Indiana All-Stars continued their domination over the Kentucky All-Stars with yet another sweep in the annual series.  Robinson had an excellent first game, including an absolutely monstrous dunk that sealed the game for the Indiana team.  I spoke with one Indiana HS scout who claimed Robinson "has a chance to be the best player from one of the best classes in Indiana HS basketball history."  Dylan from UMHoops has yet another great write-up on the two games so I would recommend following the link.

Sorry for the hijack, just thought this was interesting, don't believe it was posted before.  Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chilip Peppers closed a show in Columbus  by singing the Michigan fight song to troll the crowd.  Chad is from Bloomfield Hills (I believe he attended Lahser).

Anyways, I thought it was funny.  Now back to your regularly scheduled programs.

Oh, and Trey Burke is the bees knees.

Wow, this is turning into the hijack thread.  Anyways, how'd you end up bumping into Aaron Craft?  Complete coincidence?  And kudos for holding a decent conversation with him.  While I never have really had too much of an issue with the OSU basketball team (except for the fact their team is ran by a goblin looking creature), I think I would've made an ass of myself with an anti-Ohio comment if given the chance to confront a buckeye athlete.

Cosigned. I was in the Cbus airport the other day, you know, for my sins, and Evan Turner was there returning home to Chicago after being in Cbus for some odd reason. He chatted with a few old Buckeye fans and seemed like a really nice, respectful guy. You know, for a soulless Buckeye jerkwad jerkface.

It took me a solid three minutes of focusing on that half-court shot to gin up any hate for him at all, and even then it was only lukewarm.

Hatred for Matta, on the other hand, comes easily. I just imagine that bloated purple melon stapled to his neck and the hate flows like water.

..and have been watching him play bball since middle school.  He helped lead the bball team to the state title game as a freshman, and the football team to title game as a junior; losing both in closely contested matches.   The best quarterback at tOSU right now is the starting point guard on the bball team.  He ran a spread here in HS.

He is a good kid.

As a side note; Jamal Turner player for the Youngstown team that beat us.  He was the real deal before being shot.  He ran Aaron down like he was an old man.
