Making the first team this season were Kansas' Thomas Robinson, Kentucky's Anthony Davis, Michigan State's Draymond Green, Ohio State's Jared Sullinger and Creighton's Doug McDermott.

Green and Sullinger were the only Big Ten players selected to the first, second or third team.

Burke, Purdue senior Robbie Hummel, Northwestern senior John Shurna, Wisconsin senior Jordan Taylor and Indiana freshman Cody Zeller all received honorable mention status

So does this stick out to anyone else, because it should; simply put, who the hell brings the ball up the court on that All-American Team?!?  It's a little Forward/Center heavy don't we think?!  Yes, they're all damn good basketball players and honestly do deserve great recognition for their seasons.  But, like, couldn't they have thrown, like, D.J. Cooper on the list for sh*ts and giggles?  I'm not feeling like researching past teams and looking at the position breakdown on 1st-Teams; for all I know it's been like this in the past.  I guess the guard play/shooting wasn't up to par across the country this year.

First player since Jalen Rose and Juwan Howard to get so high ... saw it on twitter, but it made me think; those guys stayed three years, and were lottery picks!  Three years, Trey.
