Tressel loves UFR

Ol Sweatervest took to the airwaves to defend LiC yesterday: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/football/ncaa/10/20/tressel-pryor… Best quote from the Q&A period: Tressel on TP's performance: ""From the film grade standpoint, he probably had less minus plays than he did in the past couple weeks," Tressel said on Tuesday. "Now, that's the good news. Here's the bad news: The minuses that we had were those triple minuses." Wonder what the Hennechart (chart?) looks like for TP on a Sunday morning... Over under on TP's UFR points? I'll set the early number at -12 and let jamiemac's money set the action...

Tressel probably lost a lot of the locker room last year when he dumped his senior QB for someone who wasn't an appreciable improvement. Maybe that is why Tressel and TP are having such a problem getting the team to play up to their talent level. They will be "all for one and one for all" against UM, but there is a great chance that it will be too late. You can't have divisiveness all season and suddenly pull together for the last game. It works in theory, but they will not have had enough practice actually playing together as a cohesive unit. I love seeing OSU play bad.

that there weren't more Buck fans upset with the benching of a 5th year senior that had led them to the national title game the year before in favor of a true freshman. Spot play for Pryor leaving Boeckman as the starter seemed like the logical thing to do. Instead, Sweater Weasel had a kneejerk reaction after the team's poor performance against a very good USC defense last year. After all the drama and hype about how badly Michigan needed TP, how ironic is it to read Ohio fans want him benched? http://www.recordpub.com/news/sports_article/4693298 Best comment from Tressel in the article: “There’s probably not a more compassionate human being in the world than Terrelle.” Whut?
