Tremendous is a great site that has provided us with great information, and it was likely only a matter of time before they moved up in the world. Like others, I would read the site often, so that does create a space where I may have to face my fears and do some actual work.

Excellent opportunity, I would imagine, and congratulations to him.

So, MGoBlog sends TomVH to ESPN, Tim to Rivals, and Tremendous (I don't think he'd have had as much success with his site without MGoBlog) to 247. It seems to me that Ace may be on his way to Scout sometime soon.

Just trying to give voice to the voiceless here. You hammer some high school kids' ability to play football under the assumption that you are in some way an "expert of analysis" and you aren't. That much is clear.

I am just trying to let those who look over MGoBlog (quite a few people) that you are in no way an expert of anything. You know,  since you don't let that be known to them.

If I had a mechanic look over my car I would assume he is in some way qualified to tell me that it is a piece of shit. You do so without letting your customer know and under the assumption that you are and I find that to be a slimy thing to do.

I am not arguing with you. I am calling your on the side, part time hobby of ripping high school kids a disgrace. You can voice your opinion, but I will just be there to say that it is truly baseless and that it holds no water because your opinion on recruit analysis is literally as valuable as a Jersey toll booth operators opinion about ACL reconstruction.

So if a kid comes on here and finds out that the MGoBlog community thinks he is a lesser recruit because one time Magnus claimed he didnt have good knee bend I will be there to pat him on the back and say "It's ok, guy. That Magnus doesn't know shit. No literally. He has no fucking clue what he is saying about analysis. He isn't even paid! I know right? He rips high school kids like you - who work really hard ot get betterevery day - based on no knowledge whatsoever in his spare time!! It is crazy. I know. Yea he has to be fat. I know."

Praise is the only thing a lot of these guys ever hear, so what's it matter that Magnus gives them a little criticism?   On TTB he states that he's a high school coach, emphasizing on LB's and DL, which doesn't mean he's an expert, but he probably has a more technical understanding than a lot of us do.

I for one, appreciate his views on a lot of players.  My only complaint is, I wish he posted more content, but it's his hobby/side job so I understand.  The way he conducts himself reminds me a lot of my old DL coach in high school, who would tell you how it is.

P.S. - Coach Coombs, is that you?

Pure speculation on my part re: why Tremendous was hired/mysteriously disappeared from MGoBlog, but philosophically I don't think he meshed.  He's very good at making direct contact with recruits and gaining their trust and writing up interviews but the blog seems to take a more wholistic view of the recruiting process.  As such we've seen less interviews with potential recruits from Ace lately.  Just a thought.

However props to this guy, he really climbed the ladder from nowhere.

Wow, this sucks.  That was my second favorite Michigan site behind mgoblog.  I'm dissappointed but they deserve it and 247 will be a lot better because of these guys.

Everyone should take this as a reminder to click on a few ads here on MgoBlog.  The ad click revenue is how Brian is able to make a few bucks and keep this site free!

So did you work on Tremendous as your full-time job or did you just do it on the side while working somewhere else? Or did you not have a job and basically just created one for yourself out of thing air? Curious. Either way, very impressive, but if it's the latter I'm really impressed.

Steve.. You were my go to free resource man. Sadly the competition snatched you up. I understand the decision but will miss the creativity and latitude you gave recruits. Breaking down their own film for you etc. Sad day for me man.
