Like in the case of Storm Klein a few years ago, he may be reinstated if his case goes well, but it's unlikely. Hopefully he finds help with these issues elsewhere

Whatever. It's impossible to say whether Urban would have done the same thing had it been Bosa or another projected starter, but this was a pretty easy decision for him I'm sure. Most of all, I hope Sprinkle can get his life together.

Eleven Warriors actually had a nice little writeup on how, in the end, Sprinkle is really the only one that will end up suffering as a result of this. When you let your scholarship to a major Division I institution evaporate into space because you had to have it out with someone (and then some) at a place called The Grown & Sexy Lounge (per the police report), you probably don't have much of a future in football at the college level for the foreseeable future anyway - regardless of how good you are. Hopefully, Sprinkle can get it together once all this is behind him and perhaps even regain his footing and play somewhere.

EDITED AS A REPLY TO BELOW - That he wouldn't be any good or never have a future in the sport is not what I meant to imply, hence "foreseeable future". If he can get himself together and make a second go at football, then that's definitely one way to turn it around. Sorry if it was worded poorly before.

I'm not defending him, but there have been a lot of incredibly successful people who have done stupider stuff than getting in a strip club fight. I don't think it's fair to extrapolate that he wouldn't have done anything just because he let the emotions get the best of him and peddled drugs

There are plenty of inherrent lifestyle, health and legal risks associated with coke. But if cola is how you roll on a particular evening, LET ONE OF YOUR BOYS KEEP IT IN HIS POCKET. Even as a three-star, the party will find you.

There is ok way in hell those 2 would h w been released or even suspended. It would be one of those famous cough cough Urban on going investigations that last 3-4 months. He's such a Deuche that he actually is probably glad that this happened to trim his roster . God I hate this dude

Meh. Not a lot of choice here, even for the SEC/OSU/FSU/USC/Clemson ilk. Used to play pickup hoop with a guy named Sprinkle in Flint back in the olden days. Dude could ball.

Spence was suspended for 3 games by the NCAA because they found trace amounts of ecstasy during his scheduled drug test.

Spence's father is actually in the process of suing the NCAA because he claims that Noah was drugged during a house party (someone slipped it into his drink). Noah wasn't arrested for battery and assault or drug possession.
