I am an mgomoron when it comes to this stuff. How does one download and watch a torrent? I tried to download the Fab 5 as I have missed it like 6 times already on ESPN and I want to watch it high quality not on youtube. I clicked on the link and it downloads a link to my computer. How do I get the file and watch it after do I have to convert it? Thanks for any help!
It downloads a .torrent file. If you're using Windows, you'll want to download utorrent. On Mac, you want Transmission. You'll open the torrent with one of these programs, which will in turn download the actual playable video file.
Once it's done downloading, you'll have a folder with an .mkv file, which will play with VLC.
