things go poorly
Yes....this man has no dick.
"Being right doesn't mean you aren't also being a pain in everyone's ass."
I've clicked on the link and am listening to the big show right now. Let me tell you, popcorn doesn't taste so good the second time around. These guys are unbelievable!! It's now the unidentified source's ( from the OTL report ) fault for Tressel and Pryor being ousted from Columbus. Idiots!!!
Not sure what you are talking about, they don't start until 3...
Edit: Nvm, didn't see that you said Big Show.
Right, I'm listening to the big show which is playing now. Just a little bored I guess.
as is Neft at night. Common guy and torg are okay, but the two shows surrounding them are so absolutely dreadful. They are homer apologists, who don't even know much about sports. I miss spiels and hooley. I wish they'd just play the scott van pelt show after the herd and only have one local show
ESPN now reporting that many players played golf on Talbots dime and reported to OSU possible violations as much as three years ago.
Just saw that also, it's coming up on OTL at 3.
After all this is over I probably won't eat popcorn again for 10 years.
Maybe not, but you will certainly have that rush of nostalgia anytime you smell it bringing you back to the months/years of schadenfreude you enjoyed as a Michigan fan.
Living in Boston I thought I had seen it all when it comes to bad sports radio but these guys on the Big Show are really boring. They can't even keep their callers awake. The last two nodded off before they got on the air.
Maybe the 9 other current players from the SI article?
Well it sounds like they are gonna make us wait.
Man what d-bags. I'll wait for the MGoCommunity to tell me.
He's playing games on the air. You'd think interest/ratings would spike if they mentioned what it was early and allowed everyone to panic/call in.
I imagine a bunch of people are listening until he gives his info. So milking it isn't the worst idea ratings-wise. Also, it's an opportunity to screw with ESPN and other media outlets, which I'd imagine is rather fun.
Two minutes into their show and all I hear is more denial. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
Best line so far? "Michael Bibby is a tuuurd."
At least OTL isn't making us wait like Torg. Reporting on the golf outings Talbott took Pryor, Posey, and others out on.
These guys are serious douchebuckets.
I disagree. These guys aren't too bad honestly.
Double Post...delete please
Sports by Brooks will be on 104.5 The Zone some time this hour talking about the latest. He's been on several times before and usually has great insight into future allegations. 97.1 in Columbus is dragging it out.
Brooks just said "schadenfreude".
So funny that he worked that in, as often as it's used on MGoBoards.
Brooks makes it sound as if he has the smoking gun in a safebox at his house
He should have marketed MGoPopCorn a long time ago. Sales would be booming.
Would it be similar to this?
Is it some sort of FCC by-law that bad sports talk radio with hack hosts has to be on 97.1 ?
Latest from SbB shows a link between "Dirty" Dennis Talbott and another memorabilia company that set up tsiO signings for a group tied to Wexler, which would seem to indicate that a trustee may of had knowledge of all of this as well.
Wow... weak... "I can get you that truck for cheap?" to Jon Gruden?
during this next segment..
These guys are so full of shit
The "big news" that was going to drive bucknuts to drink and jump off a bridge - is a TV show with Jon Gruden?
youve got to be kidding me
The "new Pryor info" they've been promising throughout the first hour is just some deal rumored to be in the works involving Jon Gruden and Terrelle Pryor doing a show together.
[s] In other news, Jon Gruden reportedly considers the OSU position his "dream job" and is rumored to be a serious candidate to replace Tressel. [/s]
This is not the story....it's that Dohrman is coming back and ESPN has another new story. It has nothing to do with Gruden. Your false reporting is as bad as theirs.
now theyre saying SI/Dohrmann is coming back to C-Bus, and ESPN is still there working on another story
begging them to leave, lol
ESPN is working on a new story and so is Doerman (spelling?).
Given the ongoing drip-drip, why would it be that the NCAA investigators left town a week ago? That's what Gee said, anyway. So either he's totally full of shit (which he is) or the NCAA isn't on the ball (which might also be true), right?
It's not exactly a long trip between Indianapolis and Columbus. Just because they left doesn't mean they can't come back.
I just hope none of the crazies in Columbus decide to act on any of the threats they have been making. I can't imagine Dohrmann being very welcome anywhere in Columbus right now.
It's almost like the radio station is trying to hinder the investigation...
Columbus would burn from the Clarett escapade as well, just keep that in mind.
