Top 25 2014 Recruits

Sure it's way too early, but what the hell.  247 has put out their list of the top 25 recruits in the 2014 class, many of whom already hold Michigan offers.  Most notable is Malik McDowell, DE out of Detroit, listed as #23 in the nation (#1WDE).

Last Tuesday, I talked with Jabrill (who coincidentally found out about his offer five minutes after we got off the phone) and he said he grew up rooting for Michigan and that his favorite players were Mike Hart and Mario Manningham. He called an offer from Michigan "a dream come true". They'll be in it for him for sure.

Exactly.  Which is why I said he'd either be a SDE or DT, and not a WDE (which is what 24/7 has him listed as).

Who wants to start a middle school recruiting site with me?  Better question, who wants to make millions?  I'll be holding tryouts this week.

It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.

I'll help with your middle school site. I live right by a middle school, and I've been shocked at how old and developed middle schoolers look nowadays. I'm of course taking about the football players.

Most 8th grade teams have plenty of 6 footers and 200 pounders already. That's huge. He'll I just saw a middle schooler run a 53 second 400 meters at a track meet. That's ridicules.

We've got a great shot with Da'shawn Hand.  Friend of mine is his DC and I get updates on who is at the school daily...people have been offering this kid for months.  Mattison has been to the school a few times.  He is a very very smart kid and he is interested in engineering.  He also loves the fact that Michigan is able to answer his questions about the campus and academics and not just football unlike Columbus Technical College and Beauty School.  VT and Bama will be contenders, VT fo rengineering, Bama cause its Bama as well as Michigan.

He is the real deal..I went to the VTO camp with Mike Farrell and saw this kid and as a soph he was DESTROYING senior linemen with legit BCS offers.  People could barely get a hand on him, much less block him.  He has great work ethic, he is very intelligent and when i talked to him a coupel weeks ago, he's got a great hold on this recruiting thing

Very cool to have someone with a connection to this situation.  Keep us posted and make sure he sees at least 1 person wearing the Block M around.

we actually a legit contender for De'shawn Hand then? Your post made it sound like M, VT, and Bama are the three most likely teams to land him.
