Top 247 for 2017 released
247 Sports released their top 247 prospects for 2017. I have been saying for a while that I think 2017 is going to be a very good class within the state, and I think there are probably even a couple more Michigan kids who might deserve to be on this list.
So far they have Donovan Peoples-Jones, JaRaymond Hall, Josh Ross, Ambry Thomas, and Jaylen Kelly-Powell, and Corey Malone-Hatcher in their top 183 prospects. Michigan has offered all of those guys except Thomas.

This kid is the real deal and will be one of the best to come out of Texas in a long time. Give him an offer and see what happens.

Denton is only about 45 minutes from Dallas.

I'm surprised at Cory Malone-Hatcher's ranking. Everything I read about the kid made me think he would easily be a top 100 type of player.

I like Jaylen Kelly-Powell a lot - I think he's a good option for that Hybrid Space Player that Peppers is playing. He's won't be Jabrill Peppers I don't think, but we'll need to replace him soon and he would be a good option.

I agree. He looks like a safety to me, but one who's still a little light. Once he fills out, I think he's going to be an in-the-box safety or slot guy.

Ambry Thomas was offered by Michigan on Thursday, so now all the in-state guys on the list have offers.
