LB/TE Frank Clark from Glenville (I know) was offered by Michigan. I'll try to get more from him about interest level, what Michigan is mainly recruiting him for, etc.
I did not make this headline up
Never trust a guy with two first names.
In this case, I'll make an exception.
Tom Brady worked out pretty well...
The 1997 team was loaded with options.....Chris Howard, Chris Floyd and Aaron Shea
Shea as a first name?
It's a decently common name. I know three different people with the first name Shea.
Chipper Jones also named his kid Shea, because he hit the ball so well at that park.
Brandon Graham (I know, kind of a stretch but I love BG)
Woodley Lamaar certainly realistic.
If we're goin with the white boy theme.
Wow, I tried to imagine a white Lamarr Woodley right then and laughed myself silly. +1 to you sir.
a character in blazing saddles?
Damn IMDB... it was Hedley Lamarr...
As did David Terrell
We all know BOTH Tshimanga or Biakabutuka are outstanding first or last names.
Mesko, Yes? Maybe? No.
Fitzgerald Toussaint (kinda... he has two last names)
Mario Manningham, wait... shit
**Edit part 2**
Roy Roundtree, of course.
Let's not forget Chris Perry.
Mike Martin would like to have a word with you.
Cliff Lee would like a word with you.
We value men at Michigan with 2 first names.
Sincerely- Rich Rod
Here are some links to the recruiting sites:
I can see why.
"I'm leaving Glenville...going to Michigan (hopefully)...departing Ohio...so happy am I"
Hey Tom: This is a name I haven't heard before. Any ideas what his offer list looks like? Just curious
Edit: oops, on phone...someone beat me to it!
look above you.
I'm not Tom but according to Scout its Cali, North Carolina, Michigan, Eastern Michigan and Toledo. Seems like a possible back up plan for someone
For what it's worth, Cal has been after him for quite a while.
and a TE second as a backup to Tabb or one of our other TE recruits.
I'll be curious to see which position they're recruiting him for. Does this reflect a lack of confidence that we can get Tabb and need to cultivate other options at TE? Or do they simply prefer him to Petro as an OLB recruit?
Just looking at his measurables on Rivals and Scout, this guy looks great. I'm a little surprised he doesn't have more top tier offers.
The wolves are a hounded back down in Glenville eh! Sounds like Coach Rod has his foot firmly on the gas charging down the recruiting trail. The push is on!
I would love to bring this kid in this class. Looks like a solid LB prospect but i wont get my hopes up cause im sure Ginn sr. will just tell him he can't go to Michigan. Something bad might happen there, maybe he'll actually learn something and won't get paid like his OSU counter parts and we can't have that! lol
Michael Jordan did ok for UNC and actually went to the pros for a bit....
Was Jordan a common first name before MJ came around? For boys anyways?
to break down that Glenville wall and once we do, hopefully the flood gates open
