On Alabama's team?
fair point that
On Alabama's team?
Thanks for listening to us all about the Demens for Obi switch. Now If you can stop playing3 man DL fronts and play our LB's a little further off the LOS, that would be great... Thanks. Great hair by the way....
Your title isn't "graduate assistant" is it? Cause we totally just got in trouble for that and it'd be cool if you weren't still "coaching" kthxbai.
an undergrad. don't know if you were joking or not but stupid all the same.
How in the world do you have that many negs? Even if I tried I couldn't get that many.
I like the loyalty to your avatar
..But as the above poster says this is money out of his pocket. Dee went, got the whole trip paid for, enjoyed a weekend with his teammates, and allowed those coaches to give him the best they could to persuade him away from Michigan. Airline tickets are damn expensive nowadays...
You don't just fly across the country on an unofficial on your own dime. Also he never went to bama on an unofficial so this is huge news!
coming back our secondary would go from sieve to teflon. How can he not like the thought of being a four year starter? Bump Cam down to Mouton's spot and voila, impregnable.
Bump Cam to *spur* and I agree
I thought spur might be even better.
The Florida connection is really building. However I remain skeptical that a high profile kid like him will change his mind after being committed for so long. That usually only happens when a school gains another commitment from a kid deemed better. Could be just creating some drama. Not that a kid from Dr Phillips would ever do that, right Dee?
That seems like an expensive way to mess with people.
not to mention the dynamics of 1.) seeing your buddy go there and 2.) you gotta believe he's thinking about early playing time. Thanks, Tom, for you're great work. Getting Ha-Ha would be FAAAAAAANTASTIC!
when Dorsey has been committed to Florida for months. Granted that Florida let him go when he visited Michigan, but still.
Alabama got a boatload of DB's (6) in their 2009 class. Maybe Ha-Ha wants a chance to start and contribute -- and he will!
For Ha-Ha, Timmy Jernigan, and Dallas Crawford!
Give me some of that Florida speeeeeed, please!
bad blood between the schools that there will be absolute warfare in the trenches during the game. What with all the sanctions they'll be suffering from over-signing and agent scandals, however, the headline will read something like:
"Depleted Saban Troops Beg for New 3rd Quarter Mercy Rule As Michigan Romps in Dallas."
Does anyone else get the feeling that all these Dr Phillips kids have talked about all going to the same school and basically being half of the defense at michigan?
And i hope that is the case
I think there is only one guy from Dr. Phillips that has an offer that is not coming up, but he may, LaQuentin Smith. I wonder if he still has interest in us and are we still interested in him, since he was suppose to announce with Dee.
Thank you Tom. It would sure seem to me that the one thing we've got to offer recruits on D is the opportunity to compete for playing time immediately. Alabama? Not so much.
I'll bet RichRod hits that theme like a freaking drum when he's talking to the kids.
My, would he be an excellent addition to the defense...
I'm getting strange tingling sensations all over. No homo, NTTAWWT.
This could always change so just giving the obligatory don't get too excited yet, Debbie Downer post.
What do you expect? lol
Also important...He doesn't have dreads. How does everyone feel about this?
I'm fairly certain dominant recruits begin to grow hair like a freakin' Chia Pet upon commitment
I, For one, will make an exception to the lack of dreads in this case...
I hope Michigan lays some pipelines! GO BLUE!
Is "Ha Ha" his actual nickname or is that just a name the internet community has come up with?
I have read articles where Dee calls him Ha Ha so I would guess actual nickname
sry. stated above
Landing Hart was crucial. Landing Ha-Ha would be icing. Really sweet icing.
I love how Saban left MSU because he couldn't compete with UofM in state. Now he may not be able to compete with us for some of these recruits nationally. I love it.
the sweet, sweet chedda, yo!
he sees and hears the Big House rocking for Illinois like it was against Iowa in the 4th quarter. That removed all doubt for me that the boxes make a huge difference in decibel level. Kinda seemed like the noise alone would bring us back.
Anyone know if he plans on enrolling early? I mean he will have a great shot to start in the secondary regardless, but that would make it even easier.
I would do awful awful things to get HaHa. Unspeakable acts.
No sacrificing your little sister in the basement to the AMSHG...
Let anybody put their hoohoodilly in your haha...
but in reality i would hope that a second year memeber could grasp the system and build enough physical tools to be effective with a year in the system. HaHa looks great, but we pulled in a lot of defensive talent last year that didn't get much time to mature before being thrust onto the field. You have to figure that the game experience that these guys have seen plus an entire offseason will give them a major advantage over him. Hopefully enough of an advantage not only to start, but to play at a competitive level. Plus it would be nice to see some good talent come in and redshirt for once.
If we land HaHa I'll be laughing all the way to the bank.
...uhh, never mind that, wouldn't want to be confused with Bama or USC.
