Tom is great at interacting with board posters on the ESPN MDen Forum and doesn't act like a jackass like The Beaver does on Scout.

Sean is pretty annoying about recruiting.  He spent a whole show in February saying how good recruiting doesn't guarantee success.  Well duh, Sean, who the hell ever said it does?

Recruiting doesn't matter...all about development... It's better to turn down 4 and 5 Stars if you don't think they're willing to RS.

....with most of the comments above, I stopped listening to Sean because he is a complete idiot and diehard Sparty who doesn't understand logic if it him in the face...that being said I will still listen to it since Tom VH will be on and hopefully bring some enlightenment to Sean's 3rd grade comprehension level

Don't get the fuss about Sean. He can be repetitive but he is probably the most objective sparty in the media. You could confuse him for a Michigan fan sometimes with how he defends us.

He's super condescending and assumes all fans are idiots. When Michigan lost to Ohio this year he kept saying, "It's ok Michigan fan. You weren't going to win every game." Meanwhile everyone calling in was saying, "Yeah, we weren't going to win every game, not a big deal." So who is he talking to?

I just can't stand the guy. Not because he's a Sparty, but because he's a condescending douche.

I find it more funny than anything. You should hear him bag on state fans calling them out on the fact that they're more happy when Michigan doesn't win than when their own team wins. WTKA is my station but sometimes I like hearing a less homer station. Especially joyful when Michigan does well or is winning big and the schadenfruede (sp?) the callers provide on 96.1

Ok, well what's your take on his use of FACTS? Like how recruiting rankings don't matter because Texas is bad and Boise is good?

If he wanted to make the argument that recruiting rankings are not the be-all end-all and that people take them too seriously, that'd be fine. My problem with him is that he shoots down the assertion that they mean anything at all because Texas and Boise exist. It's just a stupid, ignorant stance when there are countless articles, rife with FACTS that state otherwise.
