TomVH: DT Danny O'Brien Update & DE Matt Godin Offered
Not surprising, there was another pic of him(I thought it was his scout or rivals pic for his profile but apparently its not) wearing a camouflage Vol's hat. Honestly, it was kind of infuriating to look at. Which leads me to my question, it seems to me or at least from what I read, were not exactly leading for any of the state of Michigan's top prospects. James Ross(OSU fan growing up, though Tom's write up on him today seemed sort of promising), Royce Jenkins-Stone(Oklahoma is the "biggest" offer hes recieved so far, Terry Richardson(Michigan St sits "high" at top his list and current Duck and former Cass Tech player Dior Mathis is his mentor apparently), Danny O'brien(Tennessee leads), Aaron Burbridge(Michigan St is his leader) etc, etc. Now I know its SUPER early and Hoke and co. are in the process of building strong ties with a lot of the Michigan schools but should we be slightly worried where Michigan currently stands with any of these recruits?
Doesn't O'Brien go to Flint Powers? How are they best friends? I mean I had a decent commute to CC but not from Flint. I sure as heck wouldn't want Godin going to the Vols because of O'Brien
Matthew and Danny went to elementary school together in Fenton, MI. They both still live in Fenton. The commute to CC from Fenton is about 5 minutes longer than the commute to Danny's High School in Flint.
Does anyone have any information as to why he would prefer Tennessee over Michigan? Is it just a matter of them having shown more interest earlier, or the change in coaching staff at Michigan or some other familial reason? It just makes no sense to me that a kid growing up in Michigan would prefer Tennessee over Michigan and would like any information anyone may have on his motivation. Thank you.
In the morning he would read the Bible with another coach. Then, in the afternoon, he would go out and cheat kids who had probably saved up money from mowing lawns to buy those raffle tickets. That's Jim Tressel.

Remember June 2007 when UM got a commitment from a 4 star DL from Detroit Catholic Central?
He became Mike Martin.
Yes, there is a lot of talent on the DL in the Midwest this year, but turning away from instate guys who may not be the best of the best but are still dang good is not a good idea for Hoke.
Lock up O'Brien, Godin, and Wormley and add another DT and another DE and call it a fantastic DL class.
