TomVH: Demetrius Hart Eliminates Auburn *Press Conference*

Submitted by TomVH on

I couldn't say anything about this before, apparently it's ok to be in the public now, Demetrius has eliminated Auburn. This Orlando Sentinel article says he's down to Alabama and Michigan.

I was told almost immediately after his visit to Auburn that he knew that wasn't the school for him. His uncle said it was a 7 out of 10, and Demetrius just didn't feel like it was the right place. So Friday, between Alabama and Michigan.

**EDIT** Demetrius sent me a text tonight announcing that there will be a press conference at Dr. Phillips High School at noon on Friday.

I find myself wondering which recruit I am going freak out about committing next after Dee's decision.  Frost and Zettel seem like good candidates.

Ah, but Frost and Zettel are the next two that have been so-called Michigan leans.  Walls doesn't quite fit.  Zettel will be Blue eventually.  He's looking for success, he'll get it.  Frost is looking at out-of-state schools, I think Frost is the guy.  That he's not enrolling early makes it better because the freakout can last into the dead of winter.  Commence freaking.

I added this to the original post, but to make sure everyone sees it, Demetrius sent me a text saying that he is holding a press conference on Friday at noon.

Whatever happened to the 3 star corner Daren Kitchen? I was reading months ago that he was a sure Wolverine when we would offer him and we did and then would be announcing soon. Now I'm reading Texas A&M and us are his final two. I'm not saying he is a high caliber recruit but any secondary depth helps tremendously. Any news would be great. Thanks.

Why would a recruit schedule a visit to Michigan after he's commited to 'Bama.

I have a feeling - he will announce on Friday and come down for a visit to his new home.

Wonder if he has any other visits scheduled to 'Bama after the announcement - hope not.

Dr. Philips/ Pahokee/ Cass Tech - now we only need to tap Glenville/ Rennaisance and we'll be unstoppable.

One of the top 5 backs in the country just named Bama as his leader. This is the best news yet that Dee is going Blue. No way that both Crowell and Hart choose Bama.

The gif above and debate re: Saban vs. RR in a ninja fight to the death (though that was Kung Fu in the gif) got me wondering.

Dee goes Blue and is supposedly bringing HaHa back up again for a visit.  We have a mystery 5 star coming for Iowa (maybe Trey DePriest).  How much of a coup if we pull Dee, Depriest, and HaHa from Saban?

I am sure that Dee's family is doing the math.  He can be in Michigan's class of 20 and probably start next year, or he can be in Alabama's class of 300, be asked to grey shirt, and be fourth on the depth chart in his senior year.

One of the articles last week mentioned that Bama wanted to play Hart on defense.

Does anyone know if that's legit or if the writer just had it wrong?
