Tommy Schutt to Penn State

Submitted by MichFan1997 on

Tommy Schutt has picked PSU after being spurned by both ND and M. Good for him. I kinda felt a little bad for him. Glad to see him land at a good school.

They also picked up 4 star WR Eugene Lewis.

Nice night recruiting in Happy Valley.

Not that ours was that great last year either, but it makes up for their fairly mediocre 2011 class. They got a couple good linemen and a speedy slot ninja in Bill Belton...other than that...

Maaaaan. Thinking about Penn State's good class makes me wonder where OSU is going to be rated in the B1G come February.

Fourth? Fifth?

Will this stick? It almost seems like this is a recruiting version of a rebound romance: Schutt tries to commit to ND and is beaten to the punch by Day, then tries to visit UM who says, "thanks but we got our guy [Pipkins]" and then almost immediately commits to PSU (had he even visited them recently?). It seems like an act of desperation by a kid who is seeing his options dry up and panics. This whole week-long saga with Schutt is just odd.

he changed his mind then. Would much rather see him at PSU than Ohio. They were just talking the other day that if they could land Schutt, Washington, Odenigbo and keep Dunn, everyone would start talking about their class more than Michigan's. Hopefully all those guys do not end up there

its going to be nasty, i hate when big talented recruits go to Psu like this because Penn State is so good defensively. Schutt looks like a boss a lot of great offers and a big frame. W.e lets go back to dominating psu again haha. Go Blue.

Man, Penn State will have an amazing DL in a few years.  Zettel, Schutt, Jones, maybe Spence, plus the other few from the last few years.  It will be hard for us to top that, even with the talent we brought in this year.
